Is the whole thing a massive troll job?

It's crossed my mind.

Who knows. If not, it's a crazy place to suddenly "draw a line".
You have a school in the conference whose starting QB (and hopes of relevance) was literally ruled ineligible by the NCAA and is only playing based on a TRO.
The same school was caught texting a LB at another school, while he was in class, trying to get him transfer to them... I couldn't define tampering any better.
Another school's starting RT was at Cowboy's minicamp but their HC said they won't take any 5 for 5 players with NFL affiliation.
After seeing all that, the SEC has made it clear that anything goes... unless it involves Kiffin.

This is why when you're trying to hire a coach you shouldn't look to hire the guy who pisses literally everyone he ever encounters off.

I said this earlier in the week. Kiffin has played everybody on this deal. He's got people all across the country talking about LSU and that is a very good thing. The dude is a genius and I am very happy to have him as our coach

Who is paying these attorneys' legal fees if this is a massive troll job?
If it is LSU boosters wouldn't that money have been better spent on NIL deals for eligible players?
This might be the biggest self own in college football history.

Theoretically, maybe LSU was never involved here and Lane just started talking about it to get people fired up.
There are a lot of athletes in this suit who have no connection to LSU.

So it's not a troll job and your thread is pointless.
Got it.

I'm talking about Kiffin's involvement, not the suit itself. Kids are suing all over the country, that's nothing new.

His press conference admitting to being involved wasn't enough for you?

Sure, but does he really intend on playing pro players or is he trolling?

I can't believe people seriously want him as their coach if this is the type of idiotic shite he's going to pull each offseason.

Is the guy with a noodle for a spine gonna fold? That’s all he’s done his whole life. Runaway when things get too hard. Using daddy’s connections to secure jobs he never earned.

You used to brag about him daily, what happened?

Just part of the Lane Kiffin experience, I guess.
For the record, I think he's probably just seeing where this goes and will likely end up not rostering the players. I could be wrong though.

No it isn’t.
It has always been the line that differentiated college football from NFL football.
Crossing it fundamentally undermines the foundation of college football.
LSU is prepared to destroy college football so they can win a couple more football games.
You seem to think this is all about 2 players. It isn’t. The SEC, the Big 10, the ACC, the Big 12 and all those presidents see it as fundamental to the survival of college football. They feel it is a line that can not be crossed
That is why this is different. They are willing to drop bombs. And LSU’s incompetent leadership is allowing Landry and Kiffin to lead LSU right into the middle of the blast zone.

I think it was going 100 mph and the Big 10 and SEC conferences decided to step on the brakes.
Then the rest followed…
Then the rest followed…

Taking everything else out of it, what's the real difference?
One gets paid and one gets.....paid?
