Where are all of the bama fans to tell everyone how much of a "lock" they are if the beat auburn?

OK, so UF had no business playing Alabama in the 2009 SEC Championship game since Bama had already beat them.
The BCS is a one game playoff of the two highest ranked teams. Teams play twice each year all the times in playoffs.

LOL at that guy.
OSU is beating OU.
OSU is beating OU.

Well as of right now those people in the west and north and midwest have Alabama at an almost unanimous #2. They also have OSU at about a 6 1/2. I realize votes will change but not a single northern western or midwestern SEC hater thinks it's close right now. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF EM.

but I damn sure could admit Bama and LSU are the top two teams this season.
I dont think anyone would argue this. However, since there is no playoff, the regular season must act like a playoff. Bama getting into the champ game is like Chicago getting a rematch with green bay in the Super Bowl after losing the NFC champ game.

The assumption that just because you lose to a team means you should not have to play them in a playoff or championship game. Bama beat UF twice that year.

The thing is multiple teams had their chance to pretty much not make this a debate and they choked. If Bama had beaten LSU I wouldn't want a rematch, but I damn sure could admit Bama and LSU are the top two teams this season.
I don't think anyone is disagreeing that they are the two best teams. I just think it's going to happen if OSU wins. As an LSU fan I'm happy about not having to play you again. To quote Obama "we won." I listen to a lot of west coast, north east sports radio. NONE of those guys are happy about 2 southern teams getting in. To quote Petros Papadakis a pretty huge california guy. "If it has to be two southern teams can we at least get them from somewhere besides the SEC."
The rest of the nation is tired of our little 5 year circle jerk and will do anything it can reasonably do to at least have A SHOT at it not extending.

(insert 1 loss team here) had their chance and they blew it when they lost to (insert unranked team here).
Oklahoma State had their chance and they blew it... against frickin' Iowa State...

I don't get how people think OU will win that game.
Oklahoma State is just much better than them.
I'm sure don't get how Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State either.

The media are just pissed they have so few that can vote on the matter and are only trying to influence the process to their liking.
Truth is their opinion doesn't matter. It's about the BCS votes and if Bama is #2 then that's all that matters and LSU needs to nut up IF that's how it plays out.

I think OSU is the only team that we have to worry about at this point. I think Bama is a better team, but I understand how they could get the neccessary votes.
So, no, I don't believe it's a lock unless OU beats Okie St.

So instead of the BCS we get a playoff. A 2 loss Oregon winner of the Pac12 plows through the playoffs and beat LSU in the NCG. LSU finishes 2nd with 1 loss to Oregon with 2 losses and spliting games with Oregon. So I guess in that scenario LSU should still be crowned victors for the NC.
So basically LSU fans feel they have an entitlement this year to the NC even if they can not win the big game. You guys amaze me.
