Guarantee victory? LSU had a game plan going into 11/5 and it got absolutely blown to shite by Alabama's defense. They started running the option and found a way to make it work well enough to get a FEW points. Don't get me wrong, LSU being able to switch shite up mid game like that speaks volumes for how well coached they are and the players' talent. BUT Alabama will be slightly better at defending the option IF they play again....

You would think that 3 point win in OT was actually a 4 TD blowout the way you corndogs talk.

We hear daily from you Gumps how missing 4 field goals = offensive domination.

10-1 conf champ > 10-1 3rd place SEC team.

Just the way it is.

Perchance you could explain , as to how It is not the way it is and how we will see.

What was posted was a fact: a 10-1 Sec Champ is higher on the ranking scale than a 10-1 3rd place SEC team.

Your inability to comprehend doesn't change something that is axiomatic by nature.

ETA: meant to say just champ and added SEC by mistake.

I'm not in the argument....but, how is the SEC champ determined before game #12 and the SEC CG?

Saban wouldn't have put them out there again and again if he didn't feel that they could make the kicks.

The team failed to execute when it had a chance for points, bottom line.

No kidding.

Miles would not have started J. Lee if he didn't believe Lee could be able to make plays. HOWEVER, once he assessed the situation, he made a change and stopped asking his player to perform above his capabilities.

SMART COACHING!!!!

Did LSU start the game running the option? I kinda thought they came out and threw 2 picks and we didn't see much Lee after that....is that wrong?

not a single northern western or midwestern SEC hater thinks it's close right now.

And they haven't just beat OU 'right now.'

As soon as they beat OU, they will jump over Bama.

LSU fans can be an odd group

However, I will say that Les Miles DEVELOPED 2 game plans. One with JJ and one with JL.

So, it was not exactly "scrapping" the gameplan. It was executing the one that worked best.

Everything he did with JJ after the suspension was PRECISELY with Bama in mind.

That was a typo - meant to say that in the eyes of any poster or fan a team that won it's conference say OSU with a 10-1 record will be deemed higher than a 3rd place SEC team with a 10-1 record.

Is it fair if the SEC team is better- no ;but that is the way it is.
