If we have something to say we'll say it to your face. Acting tough on a message board is full pussy mode. I'm something of an anomaly. I don't hate anyone because of some school they support. I love the rivalries but, at the end of the day, hating someone because they have a different color shirt on is fricking stupid.....my opinion only.
Acting tough? It’s just an observation that U of Texas has some very strange fan culture. More like USC than anything

I always enjoyed the hype and stuff about the rivalry as a college fan.
I'd never heard this stuff about it not being a real rivalry until they joined this conference.
Having observed how they interact with each other on this forum I now understand why people say it's not a real rivalry.
Ole Miss vs MSU is a rivalry. I'm not exactly sure what OU vs TX is anymore.
It isn't even UGA vs UF level.
LMAO...you two aren't even good enough to call it a rivalry!
GTFO!

I am not bothered. I do think your premise absurd that Texans should be looking for a fight online or else we don't fit your personal definition of what a Texan is. You seem confused, friend.
I think you are confused with what I was saying. I find it crazy that y’all once had it in you to raise hell like that. You are now very California like In behavior. It’s just an observation

Any of these losers who don't think OU/TX is a rivalry should put their money where their mouth is.
Get off your broke arse and go buy a ticket, and make sure you wear the opposing team's jersey in whatever section you end up in. Get back to us after the game.

I am in Austin right now. There is a beer called Oklahoma Suks. Yes. I’d say these two don’t like each other.

We all have varying definitions of strange I guess. Me? I find grown men obsessing over and constantly posting photos of dildos to be quite strange, but that's just me.

I participated in some of those Commerce Street Friday nights and it was everything the stories purport it to be.

Wasn't directed at you. I was referring to our extremely strange resident aggy who obsesses over them. He'll be along shortly to post one don't worry.

I have a friend who was an intern in the Parkland ER and would tell me stories that they'd keep a running count on Texas vs Oklahoma fans and who sent more to the ER haha. Those were crazy times. This would have been the early 80s.

they're just irritated their carpet is getting yanked out from under 'em. the Texas focus is already chapping that arse and now a rivalry game involving the two newbies is kicking their nuts.

In a matchup that dates back to 1900, Texas leads the all-time with Oklahoma, 63-51-5, a mark that includes a 51-46 Longhorns advantage in games played in Dallas. The Red River Rivalry has been held at the Cotton Bowl since 1932 without interruption.

Let’s just say the game was never played after about 2:30pm except on a couple rare occasions and there were serious brawls and even a shooting I believe.
