Whorns already beat Oklahoma, one of the other ranked 2-loss teams (there are 11 of them) and I think they are better than 2-loss Notre Dame so yes, probably they are the best of the bunch.

Horns need to run the table to be guaranteed a spot. They drop a 3rd loss, and they would need some special consideration to get in.

Much more likely to win the last two with defense than offense. And they're probably losing both so this is irrelevant.
