I'm sorry I hurt your feelings kid.

Not my fault PP couldn't manage to keep up with JJ an entire game. Oh my bad, he had the flu. Guess we should just all give him the benefit of the doubt. Because JJ had no ailments whatsoever last season.

he will be a top 20 pick in the draft next year, and quite possibly the first WR taken.

Because he blocks so well? It damn sure isn't because he can catch the ball.

Tell me the last time an NFL exec said they draft a WR in the 1st round because of his blocking ability......

Okay - let me break this down again: PP and Julio are both equally overrated.

The difference is that Julio is not posting videos of himself online comparing himself to Muhhamed Ali, Champ Bailey, Deion Sanders, Jesus Christ etc. Or telling anyone with ears that he is the greatest, nor are Bama fans claiming that he is the best wide reciever of the last decade like LSU fans are doing with PP.

And while I have hear plenty of excuses about why Patrick Peterson has been burned, or didn't play all the way through a big game when he was needed, or why he has only 2 interceptions; I have yet to hear any single one LSU fan admit that he is in fact overrated and not the second coming of Charles Woodson. Whereas some Bama fans will admit Julio has been overated.

You see why that is not a good comaparison?

Julio has more than shown he can catch a ball. Just like every jackass corndog in this thread is saying "oh PP's young, every DB gets beat once in a while"...every WR drops a ball occasionally. It happens.

JJ was clutch against LSU and Auburn and also had knockout plays vs Arky and Miss State. And if you don't think blocking is a legitimate skill to have as a WR...ask Ole Miss about Ingram's TD.

PP shut down JJ last year. He got cramps--shite happens.

Be glad he did get cramps because Julio would not have scored that touchdown, thus ruining your perfect season. I'd put Peterson against any wide receiver in the country any day.

don't even get me started on that blatant interception:

Thats because I don't think he is overrated. He plays the most difficult position in the country. Yall tend to forget that he is a true sophmore. Mistakes happen from time to time. Teams constantly don't throw his way. He will be a top 10 draft pick and yet he is overrated? Come on...

Peterson has gambled, been burned, and cost his team 2 close games last year alone. Peterson has cost his team more games in one season (Penn State and Ole Miss) than Julio has lost in 2 seasons. He'll still be drafted top 20.

NFL is going to draft based on combine numbers as much as anything. You don't have to have great numbers on a run-heavy team to be drafted high.

Both Julio and Peterson are going to do well at the combine and be high first rounders.

He will be. Julio is also projected in that area. So what? This doesn't mean that he has not underperformed based on his ability. They both have. Thus the term "overrated".

Julio drops it more than often. He looks like Lafell out there. He regressed from his freshman year.

You don't know that. Just like LSU fans try to claim that nobody knows if LSU would've scored had they given PP that pick where JJ touched the ball first.

It was Jarrett fricking Lee, whose favorite targets wear Crimson colored jerseys.

Good play. Where was he when Julio was burning the D for 6?

Oh yeah...screaming for a tampon on the bench.

How many more times must we hear this joke before you gumps realize you've run it into the ground?

I think that's the only game he missed time in anyway. I don't remember him on the sideline any other time.

he's not the only dipshit who's tried to pass PP7 off as the greatest CB in the SEC/nation

Considering most analysts rated him just behind Arenas and Haden this past year, who in the SEC would you rate higher for next year?

That was like four excuses bro.

And JJ was a true soph as well. But you don't hear many people saying that shite just becuase he dropped a damn ball.

That was an interception and you know it. I will be the first to admit that it didn't matter. We still weren't going to win that game (due to #12 at qb). But, that being said, it was an interception.

Want to make a friendly wager?

Apparently you don't pay much attention to the NFL Draft. Julio will be a first round pick, and definitely in the top two WRs taken, barring injury.

I'll say again, he hasn't lived up to the hype at UA, IMO, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he's got the physical tools to be a Moss/Andre Johnson type receiver.

Keep spouting the stuff about Julio not having TD catches, and I'll keep trusting NFL draft folks.

Debatable. Until the end of time...debatable.

You know what's not debatable? The refs didn't give PP the pick and the season is over so it's irrelevant as frick. It's not something to be listed under PP's accomplishments. It never happened.

There is a reason they are known as the Crimson Tide.
