Bama, LSU, UGa, and UF are the top jobs

I disagree. Texas A&M is the top job in the conference for coaches. Where else can you go 8-4 year-after-year and be wildly overpaid?

It’s a worthy question. Are their ten jobs more desirable than Ou? Perhaps. Osu Texas and uga are better jobs. I wouldn’t have said usc is a better job but they gave ou the coach poach. That leaves 6 spots. Would you rather coach at ou or notre dame bama barn fsu Miami Michigan Penn state Clemson Oregon lsu tenner. I feel like you could make rational arguments to include or not include ou in a top ten job ranking.

It’s also not a top 10 coaching job (like the thread is discussing)

This isn’t the 70s. OU is around 10-12 probably.

As an OU fan... if you consider every aspect of it...10-12 is probably where OU lands currently.

But there OU could move up or down contingent on their success.

No, it isn’t. It’s also not the 80’s. These programs are above OU coaching positions:

- Ohio St.
- Michigan
- Penn St.
- Oregon
- Clemson
- Bama
- Georgia
- LSU
- Texas
- Texas A&M (I hate to say this)
- Tennessee (I hate to say this)
- Florida St.
- Florida
- Southern Cal

Right now the NIL and transfer portal rule change is helping Mizzou big time. Give Missouri time to get comfortable with using NIL and the transfer portal. Wait until 5 years while NIL and the new transfer portal rule are being used. This is all new to every school. Most of the top schools should not be affected much by those changes. You can't deny other schools like Missouri and Ole Miss have benefited from those changes.
