Doesn't matter, we won't be hiring the best available coach anyways.
that much is certain, the only possible exception would be if Odom is promoted and turns out to be the next Saban, it's a long shot but at least it's in the realm of possibilities.

SC isn't that desirable with Florida and TN most likely on an up trend, and Clemson doing well with recruiting.
mizzou is better in sense you have most of the state talent on lock.
eventually the protests will die down

Or we could hire an MU Law school grad and complete the Law Schools hat trick of power.

That are available? Probably, but that's just because all of the available jobs right now are pretty good.
I'd take Mizzou before I took the VT job though if I was a promising young coach -- following the best coach in school history is a thankless job.

You know what's coming? The Vocal Minority at Mizzo will demand it be an African American. Mizzo is going to be the SEC's Grambling and Jackson State.

Thank you for your interest in Mizzou athletics.

You are right about that brother. Mizzo is going to be the Grambling and Jackson State of the SEC. You will now be the doormat of the conference.

That's what people don't get. It's a story now but soon enough it won't be and life goes on.
Sure, it will remain fodder for rantards but wgaf?

at how melodramatic this thread is. Some protest that happened to get publicity will have absolutely no impact on takes the job

the problem is it might have an impact on who is offered the job.

You will be torn to shreds hiring him. Just like Wolfe the admin will be called racist and protests will start again. If he's smart he says no. Its a no win situation right now.

He isn't solid. He sucks along with the rest of your offense.

I guess you really haven't been paying attention lately, the rainblotush coalition may insist on the first gay college football coach.. Michael Sam if no one else is available.. it seems they get whatever they want in como these days.

Mizzou will offer the next coach more money.
Money talks.
