No real meaningful accomplishments… no NY6 or sniffing a division title in 10 years. Context matters, but peers both inside and outside the SEC have had higher highs.

There’s something to be said for consistency… he’s always fielding well coached, solid teams… but at some point, you have to do something, right?

He’s the best coach Kentucky has had in a long time. But UK had some opt outs that definitely hurt. I do think he’s a good coach.

Two 10 win seasons at UK in the last 5, and 7 straight bowls.

Are you really asking this? Seriously? Are we competing with Georgia, well, no, but we are competing.

Looking forward to next season, Coen back, and new QB and RB, and some help on the Oline. Next season is already looking promising.

Heupel owns him but so did Butch and Pruitt.

Yes. He is a good coach, but the ceiling at UK is only so high.

Yeah, I think he is. He has had some major injuries on the team this year and the opt outs hurt them in the bowl game.

Take the BB glasses off…. 66-60 in the SECE, with a permanent cross division opponent Miss St.

You do realize that he took over a dumpster fire and started off 12-24 in his first 3 years, right?

This.

Auburn fans waxing poetic about whether Kentucky has a good coach is a little rich given your recent run of coaches though.

It’s been a decade… what he inherited is meaningless at this point.

And it was a disappointing year. What's your point?

I think as an Auburn fan, you have your own things to worry about. We'll be fine next year. Not sure when you will be fine again.

He's a pretty decent coach but he definitely has a ceiling.

He's at the ceiling.

The point is it’s not some crazy off the wall question to ask… that’s fine if you think he is… there’s plenty of evidence for him.

So when was Auburn's last 10-win season? 2016-2017 under Malzahn?

Kentucky's was in 2021.

What the hell is this supposed to mean? State is an easy opponent compared to the rest of the West? You do know that since Stoops became coach in 2013 that only Bama and LSU are the only West teams that have winning records against State. Get the hell out of here and have fun with your new piece of shite coach.

If you don't see the absurdity of it, that's on you. You look at UK's history over the last 50 years and he's clearly been our best coach.
It's hard to win in the SEC, Auburn fans should understand that. What he has accomplished has been pretty significant. Especially for a program like UK that has struggled with any kind of consistency.

Let's be honest here, There is Bama and Georgia, and everyone else has been fluctuating between good years and bad years. It's hard to win consistently in the SEC if you aren't Bama or Georgia.

We were legit terrible 2/3 of this season, but still got 7 wins and continued a bowl streak. Just lost our first game in like 22 to an OOC opponent, the longest streak in the nation.

Is UK going to challenge Georgia year in and out, no, probably not, but I don't think normal people think that we would.
