Is this a trick question?
Of course it is.
Of course it is.

So he funneled money to more than one person related to LSU football? I didn’t know that. just to be clear from the article.
“In federal documents, a man identified as “individual C” allegedly received “approximately $180,000 in Foundation Funds” from Funes. That man is James Alexander, the father of Vadal Alexander.”
And
“Funes also was charged with funneling money to the family of former LSU quarterback Rohan Davey — a legal issue but likely not an NCAA problem for the school since it was well after Davey played for the Tigers. His senior season was in 2001. “

wow. I remember when Alabama was being investigated. Getting slammed at the end is bad enough, but the long investigation is tough too.

i don't understand what LSU has to do with this unless they prompted him to pay the athletes.

LSU doesn’t have anything to do with this. Just more hopes and wants from Yahoo and tSECr.

when i played ball in college, a chick once gave me 20.00 to buy some food. the university didn't know a thing about it. what's the difference here? is it because of the amount of money?

If there is enough public information, the NCAA will punish. If the public info dies out or gets swept under the rug, they won't. It's that simple. Right now the media is keeping it in the public eye.

I wonder what percentage of LSU fans denying that LSU knew about these payments also gave Auburn endless shite for the Cam Newton saga?

Alabama didn't "prompt" Logan Young to pay athletes. DuBose damn sure was never recorded negotiating for players.

What evidence has been brought to light that LSU had anything to do with it?
What evidence is there than Funes acted as a booster when he was laundering money for his own ends?
Are we now saying LSU is responsible for any and all transactions involving anyone who ever played for LSU and their families?
