I have a feeling they will pay him his money. If they don’t do it willingly then a judge will make them eventually.

I started coming to terms with it last Saturday. Sankey has screwed us all. The other 3 power conferences baited him into the 9 game SEC schedule and he swallowed it hook line and sinker.

I don't view it that way. We get to watch incredible, competitive football every week. Every game is fun. No free wins. I'm just adjusting my perspective to realize than an SEC Championship means more than a National Championship. The latter is just the best of the SEC, some diluted competition charity bids, the B1G champion, and Notre Dame.

Yeah at some point a school somewhere is gonna have to tell Jimmy Sexton to go pound sand.

Well it just means that SEC schools will scramble to schedule Kennesaw States of the world instead of the Florida States….

That would be stupid.

LSU has NFL WR's walking around every square mile and all they need is a coach that can design their plays.

Take a gamble and get Kiffin lite. The North Texas coach for 5 milly.

Well it feels like the other power leagues pushed Sankey to go to 9 games so that the SEC will do the dirty work for them. There is gonna be a lot of very good SEC teams that will lose games in November in the future. Then the loser of the SECCG every year could get left out of the playoffs if they are already a 2 or 3 loss team. Without the expansion to 16 teams some good SEC schools will get left out of the playoffs in the future.

LSU is going to have to go in and strip the copper out of that children’s hospital after they bankrupt it to afford his buyout in 4 years

I think all SEC fanbases are going to have to come to terms with how brutal the modern SEC has become. I would understand your sentiment more if you were a Notre Dame or Ohio State fan where your program can and should cakewalk into the Playoff most years because you're facing inferior competition for 10+ games of the regular season. Next year, the SEC schools that make the conference championship game will have to play 10 SEC programs before they punch that Playoff ticket. I think the worst SEC program this season would probably still be a .500 or better team in any other conference.

i mean, even losing 3 games, you SHOULD still be hovering around the 12 ranking. that's all I'm asking is to get to November and relevant still in conversation. expectations have definitely shifted over the last few years, but that doesn't mean we need to settle for the product we've been given the last 3 years.

I doubt the SECCG loser ever gets left out of the Playoff, even at 12 teams. But the reality is that the SEC is in the driver's seat for Playoff format, so I'm sure the format will eventually reflect that reality.

To LSU? - No

To Ole Miss? - Definitely. Ole Miss has never been more relevant than they are under Kiffin.

Whatever it was, Kelley and agent found out what it was and used it again against Woodward again at LSU.

If a school is dumb enough to pay a coach 16 million a year, that’s on them lol

Obviously he isn't worth that...but LSU is absolutely desperate to avoid embarrassment and fan revolt...so they'll drastically overpay whoever they get.

Schools bring this crap on themselves. All of them. Part of it is fan driven. The stupidity becomes a self fulfilling prophecy because no one is really ever held accountable.

Pay him by the championship. He works real cheap that way.

LOL, most LSU fans don't put much stock in anything Moscona has to say. That being said, no coach is worth 16 million in my opinion.

Do you even think before you post? LSU has won a national championship with 3 different coaches just this century and just fired one that was making 10 million a year.
