UGA football players go to strip club with their recruiting associate at 2am while celebrating winning a title (red flag). Immediately after the same group of people get into a fatal car accident. Is this a smear piece or is it proper investigative reporting? A person on UGA’s payroll took players out to party which resulted in a horrible car accident and two deaths. Im surprised more questions aren’t being asked.
Yeah it's a hit piece, period!

Kirby knows everything going on in his program. UGA is paying young females to "drive" around drunken football players at 2:45 am. The tragic part is an accident happened. In a situation that should never have occurred
Did the AJC article put out all the facts?
Was the toxicology report in the AJC article?
If - and again I don’t know - neither do you at this point (and this post may not age well - or it might)
If a university employee(female or male) was driving intoxicated players back to their apartment - presumably for safety - then that is a good service and use of personnel and vehicle.
If not, then it wasn’t.
Either way, it’s a tragedy - but only one of those scenarios is negligent - the other was poor driving and just an unfortunate accident.

Actually, the staff was not seen in the strip club. Neither the players. There are rumors that the players were there. There is video of the players and staff walking across an intersection up the block from the club and other clubs.
Alot can be assumed, but throw this in their graves if that’s how you roll!
Btw the tox report hasn’t come back yet, but it’s been reported that it’s not expected to be involved with the driver. Who goes to a strip club and doesn’t drink?

I'm sure those two young ladies (employed by UGA) and those football players were on their way to a Bible study at 2:45 a.m. ?

It's not a hit piece. Its a story of what happened prior to their deaths and it raises questions that you don't like or want raised.

Is the story true or not? Yes or no.

Recruiting aid seen taking players to strip club using university athletic department funds. Tragic accident follows.
You don’t fricking say. I got blasted for giving the cold, hold, emotionless truth about this tragedy when it happened. Dumb college kids doing dumb things on the road and not respecting a thing that can easily become an instrument of death.
This is even worse than my original thought of just house party drinking. Yikes on the boundaries here of team officials and students.

This will get worse before it gets better.
Much worse.

So sad.

I’m just confused how Georgia fans are so nonchalant about that Atlanta Journal Article. Pretty fricked up if you ask me.
It was a poorly published article, and the AJC should be ashamed. Same idea applies to your post.

So basically you need to see the truth.
The georgia fan behavior is getting the current attention because it is a festering pile of sleaze.

They should be ashamed because it makes you uncomfortable? Stop being blinded by your Dawg glasses and see the big picture with this situation. Obviously more information is needed but on the surface this is a fricked up situation.
