Holy shite.. I hate my own kind sometimes.
If the kid does anything against LSU then have at it. Until then, Aggies need to keep their mouth shut about JFF and pray he doesn't get killed his Freshman year in the SEC.
There, took the bait so you don't have to.

So OP asks if Manziel is better than Wilson after he clearly outplayed him and broke the SEC record for Total Offense in a little over 3 quarters and that is somehow an outrageous statement?
He is completing over 70% of his passes for almost 1100 yards with 10 TD's and 0 picks while also adding 366 yards on the ground with another 6 TD's and 0 fumbles. He's done that in barely 12 quarters of football.
Is he going to win the Heisman? Certainly not this year. Is he going to lead A&M to win out? No. That wasn't the question. The question was if he was better than Tyler Wilson. You can certainly argue Wilson is still better in spite of the game because of his career. You can argue he is better because of his draft status. Manziel certainly made his argument yesterday though.
I hope everyone keeps dismissing Manziel. In fact, don't worry about him a bit. He sucks. I'm sure his performance in his first 4 college games has been a freak occurrence and he will fall into mediocrity now. Certainly don't worry about A&M. No chance a team led by Freshman is going to get better either, they are going to curl up in a ball and quit anytime now. Just count it as a W on your schedule right now. Don't even bother to watch us for that matter, just wait until we show up.

The one silver lining in this season is how over-confident we have made you Ags.

Aggressor, get with the program! Wilson is better but doesn't show it because he's on a bad team. And Manziel can only be as good as Wilson if he goes 10-2 like Wilson did last year on a good team.
Wait, those points directly contradict each other in logic. Aw frick it. Just roll with it.

It was given to him in HS. Not by us. We might have added "F***in'" for emphasis
He had just under 80 TDs his Sr yr of HS to 3 interceptions while rarely playing past the 3rd Q. Earned him National POY.
Texas wanted him as a Safety so Rivals rated him as a 3 star

I'd think that 'the best' would the guy that succeeds at all levels. For example, some schmo that had great college stats wouldn't be considered better than Joe Montana or John Elway or even Tony Romo for that matter unless that 'schmo' had tasted some success in the pro game as well.
I just don't see JM playing on Sundays. And Tyler wilson will . SO...there it ends for me. JM had a great game and will have a great college career unless/until someone from Bama or LSU kills him.
And Tyler Wilson, despite our crazy season, will be a top 10 pick after this season and will likely end up an NFL starter some day.
Most teams would take TW all day long over JM, despite his athleticism. Therefore, TW is better. And it ain't even close.

Cool, you think Mike Sherman is a better coach than Nick Saban, right?

And JFF is 6'0 and 200 pounds. He takes less hits per game than a RB does and he's very slippery. You'll only get one or two good shots on him per game. Or less than any QB with a lesser line or that isn't as mobile.
I'm not worried about our wonder boy getting hurt anymore than I worry about our other players getting hurt

He played well but we suck and his nickname is retarded.

Love Ryan Tannehill last year and he was a Top 10 draft pick. No way I would have rather had him than Kevin Murray though. KM never made it in the pros but he was an unreal college QB.
Wilson also threw 2 really bad int's yesterday. He just threw it right into the chest of the A&M Safety both times and he had time to throw. He had a third pass that hit our LB in the chest but he couldn't hold on. He's a good QB but he shouldn't start spending his 1st Round signing bonus just yet, esp considering he is one concussion away from possibly being out of football.

Look, you guys beat the dog-sh-t out of us yeaterday; congrats on that. And JM looked great.
But you really don't have any idea how far the Hogs have fallen this year, and how bad our D really is.
Look at your game against Florida. You did great in the first half, Fl adjusted(I'd point out that they had no film to make typical game plans on you,) and they shut you down in the second half.
Other SEC teams are playing much much better than we are right now, and you are out of your frikkin' mind if you don't think that Bama and LSU have bigger, faster players than Manziel on their defenses. AUburn does too(though they are young.) DO you think Manziel will outrun J Banks from MSU if he comes on a blitz? I doubt it
And I think USCe would love to introduce their D line to you if they had the chance. You guys need to simmer down a bit

As far as his passing ability, I think you need to wait and see how he does against a teams that actually covers receivers. Ray Charles could have completed most of them against our secondary yesterday. Yes, he's a slippery runner, but he's gonna end up hurt if he does that very much. Cam could get away with it because of his size/strength.

Your whole post is retarded to the point that I'm not taking the time to refute it point by point on my iPhone

NO! You can't compare Johnny to a seasoned veteran like Wilson who has taken his licks and gotten back up for more against the best. Let's see what happens when he plays the likes of LSU, Bama, and Auburn. Unfortunately our defense will make ALL quarterbacks look like All-Conference players. Is Johnny gonna be good in this leaque for a while? Absolutely! TAM is fortunate to have him for the next few years. Will be exciting to see him develop.

so Manziel > Wilson ?
is that your opinion?
