Anyone who thinks JJ should still be playing is a COMPLETE idiot! Anyone with eyes and a fully fuctional brain knows that Jefferson could never have made those passes Lee made on the last drive. He actually looked like a QB and it amazed me because I haven't saw our team with one of those in quite a while.

If you're talking about the whole LSU fanbase in general, it's actually kind of true...

Lee's INT in the corner is exactly why he isn't full time yet. the CB had clearly gotten in front of Ridley and he still threw the damn ball. you combine that with the penalties and he looks like a stupid QB. not that JJ is any better but that probably chaps Lester's arse. Les put JJ in to get the glory late in the game and will start him vs. UF.

Had lee had some playing time say after JJ's bad start after game one then i say we may have had a descent shot at UF but Lee has alot of rust and it will be to hard to overcome in gainesville

Yesterday: On the final drive Lee goes 7/9 62 yds, converting a long 3rd and 4th down and gets the team to 2nd and goal from the 2 with 27 seconds left. You pull Lee and replace him with JJ to run an option with no timeouts, without a contingency plan in case he doesn't score. Madness ensues.

I agree with this. The entire world watching that game was thinking WTF?

I'm by no means a JJ fan. I think he is too arrogant for being a pretty bad qb.

Is there room for him to still play? Yes, depending on the situation, running plays mostly/goalline downs.

Use him like RP was used in '07. I think it would actually help settle JL too.

Edit: minus last second goal line downs.

i would like to see a nielson rating poll if that happens on how unpopular that dumbass decison would be. The meter would explode. Somebody needs to start giving some credit to lee for that last drive. He made some big time throws and he is the one that gives us a chance to win not jefferson.

Seriously I know he changed positions but why is Sheppard not given a shot? He can run the option plays I'm sure and has more big play potential and if he can distribute the ball even a little it seems he would be valuable

Seems like LSU needs to make a change but what is the problem with Lee?

At this point, I don't feel comfortable with handing the offense over to either QB. JJ is terrible and Lee is just bad.

stats from yesterday's game...

JJ - 30 yds in passing, 3 for 10, 2 interceptions
JL - 185 yds in passing, 16 for 23,
1 interception

looks like Lee is NOT just as bad.

Keep it real...he still lofted the ball up for grabs multiple times. He is better but nowhere near good.

And what will we people do? Pray for another option to the short side? At least some of us have some hope.

Depending if he wants to run or pass will dictate which QB plays ..... Whoever is named starter really doesn't matter anymore because both will play. Lee for the passing scheme and JJ for the runs ......
