Is it true that you're allowed to run multiple plays and multiple formations?

I usually just watch LSU. A friend told me that he heard some rumors that other teams try a lot of different things on offense. They line up with three or four wide receivers to give the offense more space and room to work with instead of clogging it down with unathletic FB's and TE's that the defense doesn't really have to account for. They have receivers running multiple routes. They run different plays so that the defense doesn't know what's coming.
Am I being trolled?

Radical ideas that I can't get behind.

I hope les has turned in the game film from yesterday. Wisconsin was in illegal formation and making illegal throws to parts of the field you can't throw in.

As long as the SEC offices are in Birmingham, we will continually get fricked by the refs. I can't tell you how many games the last few years that they've let the other teams do this against us

The old ways are the best ways.

I dunno about that....the refs in the UGA-UNC game seemed to be very suspicious and then I saw a UGA dawg tatoo on one of the refs hands...just saying. I think Fedora saw it too

Bad things can happen when you throw. Better to run run run punt, play field position.
