“ State 33-6 (yikes)”
State had a stretch from 1974-1991 where we were 11-7 against LSU. But since the early 1990’s the Tigahs have dominated the series. Though there are number of games where the score was close and State had opportunities to win some those games.

What games do you personally care the most about?
Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, in that order. But I'm from Memphis with a ton of close friends who are Ole Miss alums, so my caring about the Ole Miss game the most probably isn't shared by most LSU fans

“ Agreed. Except for when y’all cheated in the 70s. Those need to stay forfeited.”
Except State did not cheat. One football player/student got a discount at clothing store that was offered and available to ALL State students.
It was and remains the most egregious wrong committed by the NC2A. We were made to forfeit 19 wins and 2 ties because of that sham of a penalty. Coach Tyler filed an injunction because of the ridiculousness of the case. And that allowed the player to continue to play. Several years later the NC2A after several appeals unbelievably won the case. It was crap then and is still crap today.
State won those games on the field fairly and with eligible players playing.

Tiger Stadium at night being special is a myth.
Yea the last win at night was 2001. So it's only been 20 years+ since the last win. Such a myth.

Seems like the team who loses the most has the most interest in the rivalry.
Which explains why “LSU old timers” hate Ole Miss so much.
Vaught was 15-6-3 against LSU
(Almost all those games were played in Baton Rouge too so yall’s grand daddy’s got to see all those arse beatings in person)

Since SEC expansion in 1992
LSU leads 18-11 (soon to be 18-12)
Pretty even series.
Take away the Orgeron and Luke years and the series is even.

Unfortunately one of those six losses (1959) cost Ole Miss a NC. The famous Billy Cannon (A MS Kid from PHL, MS) PR on Halloween night for a 7-3 LSU win.

Our DL doesn’t care about the all time series record.. I’m sure LSU’s redshirt freshman center going up against Walter Nolan and JJ Pegues won’t be worried about it either
