Brady is the best coach on either team . You put him on the Georgia staff and they are better then LSU this year.

Isn't a big part of a head coach's job to assemble the best staff he can? Maybe Kirby should have hired a better staff

If you sit down with both guys and talk X's and O's, I think one of them would stand out from the other.

One thing that has stood out to me about LSU is the only coach getting mentioned is Brady. I think Oregron is just the Cajun poster boy that somehow managed to not get fired after getting beat by Troy

I don't think you are going to get an argument from Georgia fans.

But seriously....why do LSU fans seem to have a need to hear it from other fan bases? It just seems odd. Is it validation?

Because UGA fans didn't create multiple "UGA is the new bestest ever!" threads in 2017 or anything.

me personally, I couldn't care less what others think of Orgeron. Won't make a difference in how I feel if/when he wins a national title.

I get what you are saying, but one of the things that impresses me about Orgeron is his lack of ego. He hires people and then lets them do their job.

One of the things that makes Dabo good is he lets his coaches do their jobs. He doesn't try to jump in the middle of Venables coaching and control things.

Those are only two small things that Orgeron and Dabo does well. They trust their coaches....and they make good coaching hires.

I'm not taking anything away from either one of them.

And it shouldn't.

But, doesn't that make this thread that much more strange to you? The OP apparently got riled up about the subject or there would be no point to the thread.

It varies on what they're trying to say...just like which fb game history.

Let's see what happens after he losses both coordinators like Kirby.

Coach O is obviously good at hiring assts and more flexible to change.

Many fans, and this isn't limited to LSU fans, are insecure and seek validation all the time when their team is good. People also take trolls on here way too seriously. 99% of the negative posts concerning LSU, Orgeron, whatever are intended to get a rise out of people like the OP. And if he wants to refer to what people said earlier this season or prior, a good chunk of LSU fans said the same thing about Orgeron and did from the day he was hired until he beat Alabama. Honestly, a lot of the vitriol was worse from LSU fans, and I have a lot less respect for those people than other fans on the SEC rant.

So CEO should have been fired his first year as head coach for losing to Troy...so by your logic we should have fired Saban in 2000 his first year as head coach when he lost to UAB...

Both have 4 NC's under their belt has defensive coaches...Kirby with 4 at Bama and CEO was 2 at Miami and 2 at USC...

They both know their football so stop with the stupidity...

Kirby was a coordinator I believe for a few of those. What was O?

yes Kirby was the defensive coordinator those years...for CEO at Miami he was defensive line 1988-92 and USC defensive line/assistant head coach/recruiting coordinator 98-04

You might want to google some of the names of players he recruited for the dline and coached...some of them are sitting in the NFL HOF now...

Like I said, both know their Xs and Os...if you think their is a drastic difference in their knowledge of football you are being foolish...

Let’s see what he does after Joe Burrow and those receivers are gone.

It’s time for LSU fans to admit that they have a strange infatuation with UGA.

You will see Myles Brennan with some of the same WRs like Marshall and Chase who are sophomores along with another loaded roster of WRs...

Kirby reminds me of Les too much for me to believe that. No way he gives Brady that much control

2 are Sophs and it'll be interesting to see if Jefferson and Edwards-Helaire (RB) comes back.Thats some serious fire power at the skill posistions.

Burrow's successor is definitely getting the keys to a Ferrai if that group remain intact.
