I mean, really? All of us are the ignorant ones for this?
Dude, stop.

Nobody has debated that Tennessee had a good run from 1997-2007. Nobody.
Nobody can reasonably contend, though, that they've been one of the better SEC teams since then, or that they've been better than 5th in the SEC since integration. You keep trying to spin it, but you can't do it.

AKA I'm not sure how to spin out of this one anymore than I already have

Tennessee is in the 3rd tier of the Big 6 since 1970
1st - Alabama
2nd - Florida/LSU
3rd - Georgia/Tennessee/Auburn
Not really sure why this is such a debate
Also, the notion I'm spinning for Tennessee is also laughable. I review things, come to a conclusion and present it. Not everyone has an angle and cherry picks things to try and make it look good.

Oh, but I also didn't say that UT has never been one of the best SEC teams. I said they haven't been since the SEC teams integrated.
Again, UT integrated in 1967, so you need to start the numbers there, frickboi.

Your comment...
"And you said 25 was too small a sample size"
I asked for a link to when I said that, and you still can't provide me for that link. Not something that you think means the same thing, but that very comment. Go ahead.

No one said that, I want exact quotes and links to them

This is just like those ridiculous Jalen Hurts debates when a handful of us would say Hurts has to improve, but many QBs make a jump Year 1 to Year 2 and so well hold judgment until that determination can be made.
We were then immediately lumped into some category of blind Bammers who can't see the truth and treat Saban like a god.
You are like a bad politician. Everyone doesn't fall into a predetermined bucket Huddie. We're not all out to be all in one way or another.

I don't think it means the same thing, I have a grasp of both the English language, semantics and sampling techniques and understand what phrases are linked and are synonymous with eachother.
I never said you said that verbatim. Ever.

I have said over and over that it's a line of demarcation when ALL SEC teams were integrated.
BUT, since you insist: Here's a photo of the 1967 UT roster....

I think we're the only team, besides Auburn, that had to play Alabama every year during that time period as well.
It does affect the winning percentages, at least slightly.

I don't have time or effort to do it, but I wonder what the "non-Alabama" SEC % is for those 5 teams since 1970.

I do too. I'd like to see Georgia's record vs Bama during that time period as well.

We're 6-10 since 1972. We didn't play in 70 or 71.

Lester McClain (b. 17 September 1949[1]) is a former American football wide receiver and the first African American to play at the University of Tennessee.[2][3] He joined the Volunteers in 1967

gee. And they didn't even allow him to be in the team photo. That is damn sad. I'll just guess that there were white and black water fountains in the locker room.

Well my line of demarcation is 1967 when the SEC began to be integrated. It's also an even 50 years. Therefore, your random year and the numbers that follow it mean nothing.
