I don't know. Maybe the market changed. Maybe Fisher was more willing to go to LSU than he was to A&M. Maybe we wanted to be certain that it wouldn't slip through our fingers.

Our AD, Scott Woodward, is just about the most respected AD in America. LSU had a home court advantage and almost lost the game.

In 2015 F. King Alexander shite down the plan to let Miles go and hire Jimbo at damn near the final hour. Alexander did it for political reasons. Miles wasn’t retained because he won the game against A&M in 2015.
