I am surprised Ole Miss fans don't like our coach. Sure they did not get to keep their wins, but they WERE there. Does that not count?? Would they had rather not ever have gone to the Sugar Bowl? Is it likely that any other coach not named Hugh would've have gotten them to the Sugar Bowl those years?

The Ole Miss faithful should know by now that Lane isnt there for the long haul. So dont burn bridges by poisoning your memories with your best lover.

As for the Mississippi recruit today, good job Ole Miss. He was very important for the Ole Miss football program and your NIL group unified and brought him in.

"CJ Golson © @CJGolson: 1d
BREAKING: Per source, New England #Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien has referred to rookie WR Demario Douglas is "the most advanced young wideout (he's) ever coached"
O'Brien also compared his route running and work ethic to DeAndre Hopkins."
Hugh is going in dry Oct 21st.

Implied-

As if his role in the cheating scandal was minimal.

Deflection, I get it, if you can’t make a case otherwise change the subject.

Relax, it’s going to be okay. Pearl seems to be working out and his track record was similar to Hugh’s.

I’m 6 pages late, but wanted to chime in and add that Hugh Freeze is a much better recruiter than Lane Kiffin, IMO.

Right, because recruiting to Auburn is totally the same as recruiting to Ole Miss***

I mean yea we all know Auburn is a much better option than OM but in the era of NIL it’s all about the $$.

Freeze was ahead of the game when he was at OM and recruited well there. Fact is Hugh is a much better recruiter and coach than Lane

The Right Rev. Freeze is gonna rustle jimmies like nobody we've had since Cameron J. Newton, and I for one cannot wait for the ride.

In 2014 Hugh Freeze had the element of surprise, given that is when the better teams were trying to catch up to the speed of the game.

If you care to recall, that was also the period that Gus was running up and down the field with Nick Marshall.

Just to say that Freeze won't be running anything that everyone isn't. Doesn't mean he can't win, but it does mean he will have to be better at coaching than he's ever been.

Saban flat out said Hugh is why he had to change. He brought in Kiffin because of Hugh.

He wears Hugh pajamas in other words.

Why don't you reread my post? Not only has Alabama been running spread concepts, but so has everyone else in the SEC. So no surprises this time around. I also acknowledged that Gus had the same offensive advantage with Nick Marshall, early on.

If Hugh is all that he had better have an encore.

LOL, hardly. Why would I be, not my coach.

Actually enjoying myself.

Again, just pointing out that ya’ll hired a dirty coach (fact), and that without built in illegal advantages his recruiting prowess is no better than any other SEC coach.

With Hugh and Pearl, is Auburn the new Last Chance U?

I’m sure the responses to my post if any will be Kelly is a murderer….Will Wade…Kids with cancer blah blah blah…

But nothing in defense of your coach.

So explain Hugh's recruiting success up to this point.

such as the 5* receiver from Julio Jones hometown...

So, you are under the impression that Auburn doesn't have a history of pulling in 5 stars and having top-10 recruiting classes? Are you a 5 minute egg?

Keeping the barn down in the SEC is impossible if recruits believe. They believe, again. I think foolish fans seldom can reflect back further than last season.

The barn isn't Arkansas, or Ole Miss, or Miss State. They have, historically, a strong passion for winning football games that rank right up there with Tennessee.

Do yourself a big favor, know your enemy.
