I'm thinking this is more of a baseball analogy, but Nutt always has a scrappy football team. His teams will bite you in the rear if you don't put them away early on.

He was at Arkansas for 10 years. I hated him after 3. That's about how long it takes to see through his smoke and mirror BS.
I do hope he stays at Ole Miss forever though for comedic value alone.

I don't think Nutt is a good or great coach. Average at best. However, he is the best person at managing expectations that I have ever seen! He survived 10 years at AR doing this. He'll probably do the same at OM, unless they see through the smoke screen sooner.

He's a good game day coach(IMO). That plus he generally has a stud in the backfield.

Great "players coach", good recruiter, subpar delegator of authority. Let's himself get too caught up in the Highs and too let down by the Lows, which tends to carry over to his staff and players.
