Let us know when he passes Minkah's 6 in a season and somehow manages to find the end zone. Minkah had 4 pick sixes, including one for 109 yards.

You're an idiot.

He already has 5 this year.

The guys that grade these things without bias don’t think he’s the best safety in the conference today. Behold the PFF mid season all Americans

Check the ESPN and Associated Press mid season Americans bub.

He has 5 right now so I'm willing to bet money he easily surpasses it.

So he isn't better yet then.

And when will he actually find the end zone?

Like I said...you're an idiot.

Are you serious? Minkah is probably the most decorated DB in the last 10 years of college football

Delpit is already surpassing Minkahs stats.

Stats are fun. They always tell the story with defensive backs. It’s why David Amerson is a yearly all pro corner

So what other metrics should we use?

Delpit is clearly better vs the run and just as good in coverage as Minkah.

Well, that's not 6, is it?

How many TDs in his career?

I think he is good. Really good. Just hard to compare him to any of the so-called greats with him playing only one good passing team this year.

5 is greater than 6.
0 is greater than 4.

Minkah had 9 total ints in 3 years. Delpit already has 6. Minkah had that monster sophomore year that Delpit is currently having.

Minkah had 5 total sacks and 16.5 TFL. Delpit current has 4 sacks and 12 TFL.

I mean he leads the nation in picks playing in the SEC west. What more can he do? Also has 8.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. A little halfway through the season.

Robert Lester had 8 as a sophomore. He needs to get on Robert Lester’s level. Mark Barron has 7 as a sophomore. Since picks matter and touchdowns don’t.

Your SI all American list is cute

PFF grades every play bub, they aren’t looking at a stat line grossly boosted by playing Nick Fitzgerald

You know ESPN and the AP only look at base stats and flashy plays. Meanwhile PFF grades every snap of every game. The primary reason PFF doesn’t have him as their highest rated safety is because they have him as missing 14 tackles in 60 attempts. They have him highly graded everywhere else though.

Why are y’all not including TOUCHDOWNS in these stats?

So you're saying that while Delpit it is having a great year, he hasn't caught Minkah yet.

Thanks for clearing that up for your colleague.

I don't care. I consider him to be a safety so he's a safety. He certainly had the coverage skills of a safety in college.

Zero, but at the actual position of a safety, Delpit is on pace to beat Minkah in all stats but "pic six"...
