Auburn will better than all those teams if Gus stays.

Gus will be able to correct that 117th ranked defense?

He started his career as a DC...

So yes.

Chizik needs to put his teeth in a jar on the sidelines and watch Gus do work...

Tennessee wasn't overrated, Florida was favored by about 10 and they won by 10. Tennessee took a huge game changing blow on their first offensive drive. But not a whole lot of people picked us to beat Florida, and we didn't.

Florida is okay, but they still have a long way to go. They could certainly win the East, but the division is a dumpster fire anyway.

Contention for the East and being able to give Bama and LSU a run for their moneys is what I am talking about. Think you will be able to take one of them down this year?

I honestly think they will beat one of them, but they will also lose to someone they shouldnt, most likely Uga.

The vols were picked to lose by 10 and did. There was no "over-rated" to the vols. We have alot to improve on, mainly with run game and tackling. But I will say that Hunter going down was a significant game changer to a young team. He was our best receiver, and putting him opposite Da'Rick Rogers is a stretch for most Defenses. Having both our receivers in the game also helps our run game. Before Hunter went down Poole had a nice 10 yd run.

Either way props to Florida and their players for taking care of business and sticking to their gameplan. And hopefully we get Hunter back soon, and it's not a serious injury!

Was fixing to type this.

If you can't see the correlation here then you are retarded.

UF won and deserved to win. As I said in another UF-UT thread, had Rainey went down with a freak injury on the 3rd play of the game, and we won, we wouldn't want to hear that injury excuse BS.

Special teams (again), TO's, and team speed were the main differences in the game. We looked like we were running in sand compared to UF.

I think UF has a shot to win the east, but it won't matter. No one from the east is ready for a Bama or LSU right now.
