All you need to know about Franks is that Miles and Cameron thought he was their best option out of high school
Kid should change positions and/or sports. He has ZERO chance to be a serviceable QB. Not gonna happen.
Neither Miles nor Cameron EVER identified a high school QB that amounted to shite.

Franks has all the physical tools. But, zero mental tools. The guy can't read a defense. Can't identify the right receiver to throw the ball to. Can't actually hit the receiver he has decided to throw to (usually 2 to 3 seconds too late) And last but not least he's scared out there. Go back and watch the game tape vs Texas A&M last season. The guy is scared to get hit. He really sucks as a qb.

I’m interested to see how Trask turns out.
I don’t really follow high school football anymore but IIRC he didn’t start and barely played at Manvel in Texas Still got an offer from Florida. While the guy ahead of him is at TCU.
Maybe he’ll show the potential Mac saw in him
