Long term I’d take him over Gus. And that’s saying a lot since I don’t think much of Orgeron. How about you...you in it for the long haul with Gus?

I can't imagine how much life would suck if Auburn's only goal each year was to beat LSU.

Considering the past decade, you probably want to add it to your to-do list tho.

Looks like it's never gonna happen for you while he's our head coach either.

With your recent short term success do LSU

Auburn knows a thing or two about short term success:

2010 14 - 0
2011 8 - 5
2012 3 - 9
2013 12 - 2
2014 8 - 5
2015 7 - 6

Seems like you should be asking this question of Gus

Yes, I am in the long haul for Gus. I just saw some stats this week where we have had more success under him than any other coach in the last twenty years as far as winning percentage is concerned - obviously Chizik gave us a national championship but he was a one hit wonder type of coach. Just look at recruiting - Gus makes us competitive year in and year out which his predecessors haven’t done. I also think that he has improved a lot as a coach especially in the last year. I pin much of last year’s loss against LSU on him, but last weekend I actually thought he did a really good job. I like the 4th and 1 call that he made, and frick any Auburn fan who thinks otherwise. I have been skeptical of Gus for many years but I am finally seeing a lot of growth for him as a coach - yes, we lost to you guys this year and that sucks but we are still a really really good team and still have a legitimate chance to win the west.

Coach O isn’t.

Auburn however seems intent on making sure he keeps his job

I'm still not 100%. Offense is still reminiscent of Les.

do Auburn fans still really think Gus is the right coach? Surely not right?

Coach O figured this out about Auburn, you have to allow Auburn to score 20, unanswered points, and then they implode.

I don't know, but there is no way to stop the inevitable - Coach O beating Auburn 3 consecutive times.

Well your own coach is getting owned by him so what does that say about your program?

Well if he keeps on winning, it gets more interesting. Look at Dabo. USCe fans were talking all kinds of trash about him; hoping he would get a lifetime contract. Now they want Saban to retire and for Bama to hire Dabo.
