They will be in the ACC next year. And I'd bet he will do pretty well.

It depends on your sport of choice and conference/division.
The country at-large is going to say Saban both because he's an unabashed jerk and because of SEC-envy.
Basketball fans will say Cal.
Personally, I hate Urban the most. He is without scruple, won by completely sacrificing future sustainability, and ran away from a problem he crated - fled the scene of the accident, basically - by faking a heart condition, only to be hired on a couple of years later by the most despised program in America.

Anyone that hates coach Cal hasn't done their HW. I used to, but honestly i like the guy now. I genuinely think he puts the players careers first.
He tells them to leave if he thinks its the right decision. I don't necessarily like the way he runs his program, but he isn't getting over on the kids like certain other college coaches.

Urban Lou Holtz Lane Kiffen

Lou Holtz? Haven't really heard that name in this convo. Can't agree more with Urban, though. Properly placed in the most hated school in collegiate athletics.

Is Nick Saban the most hated or just the most feared?

Nobody likes Lane Kiffen or Brent, Dr. Lou or Charlie Weis. But.... esp. Urban

People are looking at Cal as he is now at UK. His last 2 college jobs resulted in harsh sanctions to the extent NCAA tourney wins were vacated & monies returned at both universities. At both places, his best player was involved in serious NCAA violations. On a roster of 13, how does any coach, let alone Coach Cal, not know everything going on with that player? He is also not well liked amongst his peers, and not for his success on the court. Is he a great coach? Certainly. But do not sugar coat his well documented past when it comes to cheating.Hate is a strong word; I prefer "most disrespected" and that fits both Petrino & UM. Saban is just a prick of a person but that has nothing to do with his coaching abilities.

Hard to hate a basketball coach that is so bad he cant even teachhis players to shoot free throws.
