Definitely akin to a barn animal... Certainly not the G.O.A.T. by any means.
It looks like it depends who you ask...

Lou Holtz? Haven't really heard that name in this convo. Can't agree more with Urban, though. Properly placed in the most hated school in collegiate athletics.
Ha... That's pretty good. But I wouldn't be surprised if Louisville goes on a little run here in the Almost College Conference...
Oh, so you missed the point in which the author compared him to the Devil, but then retracted it because that would be unkind to the Devil?
I'll save you the time of flipping through the whole thing... Here's the quote that I got hung up on. As a general hoops fan, I love Coach Cal... Loved him at UMASS & Memphis, and I can continue to enjoy the product he puts on the floor at Kentucky.

"If you're a Kentucky fan, he's a akin to a god, a coach who has returned the Wildcats to a place of dominance in the college basketball world. If you're not a fan of Big Blue, well, Coach Cal might not be the Devil incarnate -- mostly because to say so would be an insult to the Devil -- but chances are, you don't care for him."
I was reading an article that essentially espoused that Coach Cal is the most hated man in college sports... I don't see this being the case & frankly I don't get how people don't respect how he's gained the system- It's wholly American.

Ha... I think there's a little value in pointing out how few Pro Bowlers have come out of Bama in the Saban era. I dunno... It's likely ridiculous but the thought of players being overworked at the college level is ringing in my head.

Is there any credence to the statement that Saban's players are too beat up by the time the reach the NFL?
