Doesn't this actually remain to be seen? LSU was made fun of for hiring Chavis if ya remember.

I have a hard time believing the DC of DBU is going to have some exceptionally tough job. It's LSU, we're going to play man coverage most of the time.

Not a melt, just calling it like I see it. I'm not a Chavis hater and I wasn't thrilled to see him go but at the same time it's no secret that the "3rd and Chavis" act was starting to wear thin with us. Maybe Steele sucks maybe not.. but even the great defensive mastermind, Saban, with all his 5 star recruits has had several teams blow-up on him in the past two seasons.
