Dillon Lee is the younger brother of former UGA OG Dallas Lee. Dillon brings several things to the table that make him a very good LB. His speed is consistently 4.6 in the 40. He has a great first step and accelerates well at angles. He has good vision and balance that help him be good in pass coverage. His vision and recognition skills are a big part of why his first step is so good. He knows all of the LB positions and can move from one spot to the other any time the coaches need to make an adjustment. At 6'4" and 245# is is not the biggest or the strongest LB we have but is big enough to play any of the spots.

All of those attributes also make him a great coverage guy on special teams.

With all that being said I decided to look up his stats. He has 1 tackle in 3 games and I hope it wasn't on special teams.

He is the Sam Backer and has 1 tackle in 3 games. At this rate, including the Bowl game, he will finish the season with 4.25 tackles

He does a lot of things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

What he does on the field might not show up in the stat sheets on Sunday, but he's a spark plug with a high motor.

No wonder Bama's getting their asses kicked more often these days. They're trying to be like the Big 10.

He only plays in the base package. So not very much at all on defense. So far at least.

Corey Reamer is a great kid from a great family.

There's been a few busts (Murphy, Crump), but overall Bama has done well with Hoover kids. Everybody knows JPW. Josh Chapman is another awesome person who's in the NFL and never got that much pub. We've even sent you some pretty good walk ons in Will Lowery and Michael Nysewander.

Nysewander's dad loves talking up his boy so much that hear some other things in there and I consider him my Bama insider

You didn't watch last years LSU/Alabama game if you're asking this question.

He's pretty athletic. Has a small sample size, but he may have the hottest girlfriend of any sec player... I'm serious about that.

He's a hard worker. I have seen him get taken out of plays where a more physical linebacker might have been able to fight through the block. I also see him standing in the middle of the field seemingly not doing anything. Maybe that is what he is supposed to do, I don't know that much about his role on those plays. I personally have not been too impressed.
