I promise you will see every end around, reverse, rb pass option and trick play in the book. Gus knows he can't line up and beat Bama straight up.
I agree. Who is going to be more physical? Auburn offense or Bama defense? I'll take the Bama D all day.

Really?
Its a legit question to ask based on the stats.

in conference play in yards, we are almost 60/40, so its not as one sided as it may seem.
OK, that's more balanced than I thought.

Wait, Auburn has not done that at all.
Auburn also hasn't faced a defense like Bama, either... The LSU defense took care of Auburn quite well.

i AM still genuinely curious as to where auburn fans are coming up with these astronomical predictions against bama, they beat UGA by 5, lost to LSU (here come the rain posts) and beat an A&M team with a worse defense than ours by 4?

Certainly wish you would have!
Miles and Saban are the same in this aspect. Get a big lead and start running the ball to shorten the game. It was evident that at the half when Auburn had 109 yards of offense and we were up 21-0 Miles was shutting the offense down.

Bama has only faced one offense like ours...and they dropped 600 yards on them.

oh, ok. sorry man.
I read your response as well. Thanks.

We rarely agree, but we do here. If Alabama gets out to a fast start offensively, Auburn will fold like a cheap suit under the pressure Alabama will put on their offense...it could get real ugly.

Yea, because Auburn done that so many times this year... Wait, Auburn has not done that at all.
The best defense you've faced all year is lsu and you did nothing until garbage time. Bama's only defensive weakness is their corners. If you think you can line up and run at bama and win, you don't know football. NM is not someone that can beat you from the pocket.

I don't think your comparison to A&M holds water. Johnny is not suiting up in Blue this weekend.

Gus Malzahn is not just going to change what he wants to do because Auburn is playing big, bad Alabama. He is going to run the ball, pound the ball more, throw it some play-action, pound the ball even more, and then throw some pass plays in there unexpectedly. He is going to do what got Auburn to this point in the season.

in order for Auburn to pull out a victory they are going ot have to be much more balanced on offense. TRUE
Auburn fans, is this a concern for you all this weekend? YES
Can the playbook be expanded to balance your offense out a little more this weekend? YES, AU MUST PRODUCE 200+ YARDS PASSING TO WIN. NICK MARSHALL WILL GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO THROW 20 TO 25 PASSES
Or is Gus set on trying to run into the teeth of the best rushing defense in the SEC? WE WILL HAVE TO PRODUCE 200+ YARDS RUSHING TO WIN.
THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY SO IT WILL TAKE THE BEST EXECUTION AND OUR BEST EFFORT TO BEAT THEM.

Alabama holds the statistical advantage both offensively and defensively. However this is the Iron Bowl and I expect it to be closer than it should.
This. It'll be close and I won't rule out an Auburn win but Bama's only weakness is in the secondary, and I don't think barn has the air attack for the job.

True...the QB that beat JFF is.

LSU and Alabama are completely different when it comes to defense.
By this logic, Johnny Manziel should have been shut down by Alabama since LSU could shut him down, correct?
Flawed logic.

A&M runs the ball, "because they don't throw the ball"???? What alternate universe do you live in?? Johnny Manziel does not play for Auburn.

What's laughable about the rain excuse is that I've never heard of rain being detrimental to a heavy run team. It should've been worse on lsu since we pass to move the chains.
The Bottomline in this game is :
You can't be 1 dimensional an beat bama , especially when your 1 dimension plays into Bama's biggest strength. Also, Auburn can stop the run for shite. JHill had 120 yards in the first quarter.
