Found Dalton. The obsession has remained identical over the years. Prove me wrong.

Your current basketball coach got away with buying blue chips like Brandon Miller before NIL, and Pearl got a show cause for lying about a BBQ. Better question is how and why has Bama basketball and football gotten away with so much shite.

if it wasn't for Pearls "show cause" I don't think he would have ever ended up at Auburn and chances are that the basketball program would still be a dumpster fire (as it was pre-Pearl for many years). So from a Gamble standpoint it has paid off big time for Auburn..
Now Freeze. on the other hand...
There was a lot of talk by Mizzou alumni to get Pearl, but the AD was too much of a pussy to do it with his baggage.
Good for Auburn for ignoring that shite. It’s a dirty, filthy business.
Go get the guy that plays well in the dirt.
I wish Mizzou would've had the balls to do so.

Yes and Alabama’s baseball coach received the longest show cause in NCAA history of 15 years.
This is a strange deflection for many reasons, not the least of which being that the poster seems to not understand the difference between “current” and “former.” Pretty big distinction here.

Days before football season and having to bring up a regular season baseball series for trash talk. Auburn has fallen (not that it was that far of a drop).

And once Lashlee turns us down, we're about to go after Gruden.

Yeah it’s much worse to allow second chances to coaches that have done their time than to have an active/current coach get the longest show cause in NCAA history at Alabama.

Brad Bohannon is a perfect example of why not to hire a coach from Auburn. You do realize that he was an Auburn assistant when Alabama hired him right?
Also, you are still missing the point. Alabama fired Brad Bohannon immediately upon finding out he was betting against his own team. No one hates Brad Bohannon more than Alabama and Alabama fans. What he did, betting against his own team and then likely managing to lose certain games (that would explain some of his inexplicable pitching decisions) is about as low down as it gets. With him gone, the interim coach led Alabama on a run that got them into the NCAA tournament, a trajectory Bohannon did not have them on.
He is most definitely NOT an active coach, and was fired immediately, well before he received his show cause. He is likely blackballed from baseball. Well, except at Auburn. They love giving guys who, in your words, have done their time second chances. Plus he is already familiar with Auburn having coached there before.
I wonder if Pearl will still be there to announce and introduce him as Auburn’s new head coach before a basketball game,

I guess I'll just continue to not care about this.
Thanks though.

You can bring up your world series appearance this year if you'd like.
