If Joe Burrow beats us we deserve it. All I have to say. This is the same group of people who chose Steven Rivers over Dak.

Did you watch the national championship game in January? Please, stop posting. You’re making LSU fans look bad.

Auburn is a good team...with a ridiculously tough schedule.

IMO Auburn is not a great team, which is what most pundits and Auburn fans thought they might could be if they got a big year from Stidham.

How much longer you gonna keep blaming the QB for that little league shite show Gus put on the field Saturday? Secondary blows, no running game, offensive line got mowed over, Gus going for it on 4th an 1, but it's all Stidhams fault.

Honest question. Why does a thread about Auburn being good have anything at all to do about LSU?

The original poster ended his opening statement with the final thought of "LSU is not that good". see below.

quote:

We saw last year in the SEC championship how they looked without Kerryon.

Stidham is terrible against good defenses.

They have a great defense. I think AU and LSU kind of mirror each other this year. They will get exposed against teams with a decent defense and a competent offense to go with it.

LSU should temper their expectations

so basically every P5 program in the country not named Miss State that didn't offer Dak to play QB? Dak wasn't on anyone's radar. It happens.

The better question would be why do you think this thread doesn't have anything to do with LSU.

Okay. Good point.

I read the OP, but it took me longer than 5 minutes to post, so I had already forgotten that.
What can I say? I'm old.

This misleading response is proof that you are either -
1. Lacking in reading comprehension.
2. You are just trolling.
3. Laughing at yourself for your earlier comments.

ETA. Seems #3

He has a national championship win. Is that enough?

Auburn is going to stomp Mississippi State, IMO. They are significantly better.

I think Auburn is going to lose at least one more game, probably 2. A 9-10 win team in the SEC West is a damn good team...probably around #10 in the nation when it's all said and done.

Not happening. You couldn’t come close to beating the same guys last year

Was this same question asked when we beat them last year? Did they not go on to beat Alabama and play in the SEC championship game? We beat them by 1 point on a last minute big play and a field goal as time expired. Yes they are a good team which is why they didn't fall far in the polls.

Most sensible thing I've read on this board in a long time.

Got beat by 1 and your QB cost you 10-14 points...the loss is on the QB in that case.

OL gave up 1 sack and rushed over 100 yards against a talented front 7. Best LB in the country.

D gave up less than 20 points if you remove the gifted turnover points.

Gus going for it only cost us 3...good chance in that game LSU scores a winning TD instead of settling for the FG.

The blame lies with our QB who is very talented, but must play better for us to win against top teams.

I love it when the dorks who never played a down of football in their life come out and discuss QB play.

The first INT was on JS, the second one was on the WR. It was a back shoulder throw to the WR.

We're lucky to have Stidham. Y'all are gonna get Cord Sanberg next year lol
