Is Auburn really that good?

We saw last year in the SEC championship how they looked without Kerryon.
Stidham is terrible against good defenses.
They have a great defense. I think AU and LSU kind of mirror each other this year. They will get exposed against teams with a decent defense and a competent offense to go with it.

Stidham went 53/83 (64%) with 4 TD and 0 INT and 7.2 YPA last year in 3 games vs Alabama and Georgia. He went 26/36 (72%) for 273 yards, 1 TD and 0 INT and 7.6 YPA vs Washington this year.

Was this same question asked when we beat them last year? Did they not go on to beat Alabama and play in the SEC championship game? We beat them by 1 point on a last minute big play and a field goal as time expired. Yes they are a good team which is why they didn't fall far in the polls.
