seriously. I *almost* feel a bit bad for Auburn. It's very, very obvious that hugh is in over his head and has zero chance to lead auburn to anything substantial, but there are at LEAST 3 other better openings out there right now, with who knows how many more may come open as well. If they fire him now they'd have to settle for some old washed out retread making the swan song tour before retirement or some 28 year old "up and comer" at a lower level school that hasn't even played, much less won a game against, an FBS school ranked in the top 40.
Sad.

I think we're giving him until the end of the year to 'prove it,' but all in all, he's cooked (and to be frank, thankfully). The guy has coached his last program at the power level, and I think Auburn will allow him to gracefully resign over health concerns stemming from his cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.

They shouldn’t…especially after ref got suspended for rigging two games against Auburn. Ref should be charged and arrested.

The year's Bama team seems to be vulnerable. No one would be shocked if Auburn won the IB in JHS. Durkin will save Freeze's job.
