It will be interesting to see what happens at Alabama when Saban retires. Who is going to want to follow the GOAT?
Ed Orgeron?

I don't think there is a school in the SEC PERIOD that isn't attractive to top coaching prospects.
The one hang up might be Vanderbilt, because of the education requirements. Pulling the talent to compete is a chore, but to dominate the SEC would be REALLY HARD.

LSU and A&M are top 10 jobs.

LSU is a top ten job, but is A&M. They have not won a conference title in ages. They have the money and facilities but little hardware for a while

Texas A&M will not be winning a title anytime soon because of Alabama. Life in the west will most years be a battle for second place and no sec title game appearances.

Well considering LSU is the only school, including Alabama, that has had 3 consecutive coaches win national championships, I’d say they are

And 3 out of the last 4 Auburn coaches have gone undefeated, and the other played for a NC. And they don’t mind paying big bucks.

Alabama has very little to do with A&M winning championships. A&M doesn’t win championships because of the culture of their school. They create these ridiculous “traditions” in an attempt to separate themselves from other schools because they know they can’t win.

Uh, take a job for millions, get fired, sit on arse. How is that not attractive?

Is that what Orgeron's buyout is?

Alabama is the only job worth taking if you are not willing to become a person that steals money from cancer kids and promotes rape
So its sort of just figuring out if you are a piece of shite or not

That’s why Billy Napier of ULL turned down the Auburn job.
That's not why Napier turned down the job. He wasn't able to bring Robert Sale (OC) and Tim Leger with him.

Bamas time in the sun will end. Y’all have had great success, no doubt, but what goes up eventually has to come down. Some coaches like a challenge and there are plenty of schools they can coach where they can have the opportunity to play and beat the best in college football week in and week out. I’d say coaching jobs at almost all schools in the SEC are attractive.

Money would make any job attractive in the sec west or any other university that wants to dish it out to the coach whoever he is at the time

Oh yeah? So what’s LSU’s excuse for courting him a couple years earlier? Seems like they also were interested in a coach that “FSU didn’t want anymore”
