Never did I say that the other two teams played more rigorous schedules...you implied that all on your own. Maybe it is something you are sensitive about due to the validity of the argument

You implied it. Not sensitive as it has no validity. It's just a common theme by a certain angry and jealous fanbase.

I'm not bashing that fanbase, they have every reason to be jealous and angry. Multiple losses in a row to a team with a soft ooc schedule will do that to you.

Also, what signs point to LSU going upward? Les Miles is still your HC, Kevin Steele is a downgrade from Chavis, Leonard Fournette wasn't the dominant force everyone set him out to be, still no QB, and no dominant receivers on the outside.

I am glad for you that you can take solace in the accomplishments of other people to give you inner strength to endure your life on a daily basis.

I am glad that you were given that inspiration to feel the merits of something that has nothing at all to do with you or anything you did...but in turn you can use those events as a guide to drive you toward something...it's like when the city of Birmingham played "The Pursuit of Happyness" in theaters and gave Homeless people free tickets.

From an outsider perspective I don't think Alabama is in decline but I think it was unrealistic to expect Alabama to continue the level of dominance they had from 2008 - 2012. History shows us that it simply doesn't happen. At some point any program reaches a critical level where they start losing coaches and some sense of complacency sets in. No one thought Nebraska's dynasty in the 90s or Miami's dynasty in the early 2000s would end either, and they did.

Lets be honest, Alabama's run was incredible from 2008 - 2012. Everyone forgets about 2008 but they were at least the 3rd best team if not possibly the second best team that year. Alabama beat Florida for three quarters it's not for heroics by Tim Tebow in the fourth quarter it's Alabama in the title. To be honest I put the 2008 Alabama team just behind the 2011 and 2009 NC teams and ahead of the 2012 NC team.

With that said, when Nick Saban came to Alabama the spread option at UF and the wildcat were the main offenses. Saban tailored a defense to essentially shut those offenses down. He did, but now the spread has evolved and the wildcat offense is gone, replaced by the HUNH offense, and Saban really hasn't figured it out yet. In a way you could say change in the spread offense and the replacement of the wildcat with the HUNH offense came about as an answer to defeat Saban since no traditional offense could.

As long as Nick Saban is at Alabama they will always be a contender and I can't see them ever doing worse than say 9 - 3 in the regular season. With that said, I don't see Alabama going on another run of 3 out of 4 NC's either. Realistically I think as long as Saban as there they will compete for the SEC every year, compete for a NC probably every 2 year and win an NC probably about every 4 or 5 years. Considering Saban's age it means he probably has about 2 more serious NC runs left. But again I think the day of him winning 3 of 4 are over.

Dumb post is dumb.

I don't have to explain why to you. You seem (somewhat) intelligent.

As long as Alabama continues to recruit at the level that they are recruiting at, there will be no decline. Alabama is not going to win every SEC Championship and every National Championship. Prior to Nick Saban coming to Alabama, Coach Bryant was considered the greatest Bama coach of all time. The Bear won 6 National Championships in 20 years. That means he missed out 14 times out of 20. Saban is not finished winning Championships, however he is not going to win 1 every year. Whats amazing is that bad years now are 2 losses. What was Auburn's and LSU records this year. Guess both those teams are on the decline. Roll Tide!!

A well thought out response. I think some Alabama fans have forgotten how many things have to fall in place to when a National Championship. One bad turnover and the dream can turn to ash.

Even after Saban leaves, Alabama will still be competitive, but it is probably unrealistic to think they will ever repeat what they accomplished in recent history.

but they haven't been dominating for 2 years now,

A 15-2 SEC record with a SECCG W over the past 2 years isn't dominating? If it's not then wtf is, ridiculous. Bama has a ridiculous amount of young talent and is going to sign probably the best class out of any of the past 5 years #1 recruiting classes. Great coaches all over the sidelines, year 2 with Lane the offense will just get better, and the defense is poised to be very damn good, especially when the young guys {4 - 5* DBs} in the secondary hit their stride. Bama is far from in a decline

23-3 past 3 years with 2 SECCG Ws and a NC is dominating, 4 years 30-4

Bama will win at least 2 of the next 3 SECCG.

This thread is a perfect example of the fact that even a complete fool (read his post) can start a thread that's negative toward Alabama and get multiple pages of posts from the envious, butt-hurt minions of jealous wannabes...pathetic. what is interesting is that the majority of responses in this thread are actually from bama fans that are responding in a defensive nature. that would indicate that those responding bama fans fear the relevance of the op's question and feel the need to deny the possibility of the outcome.
As usual, you're full of shite. Go back and count the posts prior to mine, then get back to me with an apology....now run along.

Seriously I was amazed when I saw that we basically had an even turnover margin for the season by the time we got to the Ohio State game. Normally it feels like to get to that level it requires being heavily on the plus side of the turnover margin (warning: I have zero stats to actually back that up).
