Is Alabama's reign of dominance coming to an end?

They aren't a bad team by any means, and won't be for quite some time. They have won the past two SEC titles, BUT the SEC has been clearly down the past two years. I mean, for fricks sake, Mizzou has won the East both years and this ast year the Mississippi schools were contenders.
Last two years have given Bama two bowl losses which they were dominated in both games. SEC will get back. Auburn and Tennessee look like they have extremely bright futures. New blood into LSU could have them back to where they were. The rest of the West probably can't do anything, as usual, but still think Alabama's run may be over.
Everything comes to an end. If it is the end, it was a very impressive run.

Yes they will be 11-2 from now on. They're screwed

It may, it may not.
Time will tell. Too early to write them off.

Alabama didn't win the SEC Title in '13, Auburn did. Alabama has won 2 of the last 3. And as long as Saban is here, no.

Anyone who says anything definitive in either direction is just talking out of their arse.

Auburn was the SEC Champion in 2013.

Also, what signs point to LSU going upward? Les Miles is still your HC, Kevin Steele is a downgrade from Chavis, Leonard Fournette wasn't the dominant force everyone set him out to be, still no QB, and no dominant receivers on the outside.

Except for Bama beat AU the very next season by double digits, won the SEC Championship (3rd in 6 years), and played in the inaugural CFB playoffs...but yea. It's over.

I would like to have posted about the State of Alabama having won 5 of the last 6 SEC Championships, but had to respond to allin2010's crazy talk first.

Isn't this the same question that was asked around this time last year? Alabama was up 21-6 on the eventual national champions in the second quarter of the Sugar Bowl. We had the talent to win it all this year but just didn't execute at the right times.
Alabama finished the season 12-2, SEC champions, and ranked in the Top 5.
Every fan base in the SEC, sans maybe a large minority of Alabama fans, would be happy with that.

One of these years this thread will be correct.
Doubt it's anytime soon.

I think the dominance is over.
They can start a new run, and I expect them to continue to compete for the SEC title, but they didn't win the SEC last year and they won it this year with a less than elite team that arose from a lackluster slate of SECW performers.
That's not really a slight to Bama, but they haven't been dominating for 2 years now, so I think whatever you want to call where they are now, it wasn't where they were prior to 2013.

To both of the tiger fans, The coaches that went to LSU and AU you just received, Saban canned them they were told to find a new team and it did not just take place, It was in the works 2 weeks before UA played OSU, AU & LSU you got some UA hand me downs, so the joke is own your coach and fans, And bama will win the sec next year, The tigers have a long way to get there, Ha Ha
