Thanks for a link to individual offensive statistics.
Here, I'll provide you one for team statistics:
LINK
LSU averages a whole 17.7 yards/game more than Bama, and averages 1.3 less points/game than Bama. I guess that shows that LSU's offense is unequivocally better than Bama's.
I also wasn't aware that the season was over and Bama had already played LSU where this vastly superior offense was on display. Did you ever stop to think that with their numbers being so close that they might possibly change after next week? After the rest of the year?

Grats on the passing numbers for Mett. But how about team scoring offense? Points per game?
Either way I think it's splitting hairs. I'd give the overall edge to LSU if I were nitpicking, but it's pretty damn even. But if you want to get excited over being marginally better at one thing then go right ahead.

Man, I'd take the quartet of Mett, Landry, Beckham, and Hill over anybody in the nation right now.
Regardless, it's not gonna come down to the offense.

looking at all these offensive stats, I now realize that:
LSU has played 1 more game.
Only throws the ball to ODB and Landry (69% of the teams receptions)
Looks like they run the ball better, but averages 10 less yards a game.
I see a total of 18 yards a game difference in the 2 teams. A massive difference.

I can see LSU fans talking about this game, they are next.
I can even see Aubies talking about this upcoming game.
But I truly hope the Gus Bus is practicing for Bama already because if UGA gets Gurley back in decent shape it might be a bad day for the War Eagle.

But surely they must score at a much higher clip than Bama, right?

Bama is going to whip Auburn's arse again this year.
the silver lining in all of this is that the Auburn people have some hope this year.
so it will make for a much sweeter victory for the Tide come November.

Bama doesn't have 1 wr in the top 15 in yards, rec or tds.
LSU passes more. So... duh? Alabama uses more receivers.
106 of 153 LSU's completions go to just two guys. Landry accounts for more than 1/3 of LSU's completions. Despite LSU throwing nearly as many passes (more per game, but played 1 less game than Bama so far).
LSU has only two players with double digit receptions to Alabama's 7; Alabama also has 8 players in triple digits of receiving yards to LSU's 4.
Alabama just appears to spread the ball around more.

Alabama scores more points per game than LSU does, so... no.

Yeah man, that was my attempt at sarcasm. I provided a link above showing the team offensive stats because someone had tried to reply to me with a link showing individual stats to prove LSU's offense was so much better.
By the way, LSU has played one more game than Bama has, not the other way around.

You are absolutely correct sir. That gives even less justification to so few of their receivers having less than 10 receptions.

It's not like LSU fans are gonna come out and say Bama is better on offense, defense, and special teams
That being said, I think the offenses are pretty equal.

Hey, I just want to make an observation and you can take it as such...not being belligerent, just wanting to talk football with you. It seems you are putting WAY too much stock into raw stats and not looking at some other mitigating circumstances in the assessments you are making. I understand you are passionate in your feelings about what you are saying too, which is fine but don't let it get in the way of your reasoning abilities either.
Let's look at the stats on Bama. Simply put they are not as impressive offensively as they might be for a reason. Alabama is not a run of the mill team this year so you have to adjust your view of their stats to get the big picture. Bama has come in to most all their games and thrown what amounts to a 1st Round KO on most of these teams they have played so far. So while the stats might be front end loaded, the rest of the game the sense of urgency is gone and/or the back ups are in the game performing mop up duty VERY early relatively speaking. So even if the starters are in the game still, the KO has already happened and the playbook goes vanilla. Now, I understand if you haven't watched each Bama game from front to back to see the dynamics of how their games have been but sometimes simply analyzing the raw numbers isn't the best method to go by.

Bama's offense is good. But lsu hasn't been held to 330 yards by a Colorado st. Or 200 yards by va tech. UF's defense is as good as va tech's and lsu ran it at will against them.

What's funny is that bama fans before the season was claiming to have one of the best wr corp because Cooper had over 1000 yards receiving the year before. Lsu will have two 1000 yard receivers this year. It's like lsu gets penalized because we have TWO nfl Wrs ( talent wise) while bama has zero without a healthy cooper.

Saban was NEVER going to run over McElwain, they are pretty tight. That's one thing to keep in mind...this is one of those "Inside Baseball" things that have to be factored into the equation.

First game for Bama against a very good Defense...they were pretty flat but they have improved by leaps and bounds on the OL and as a whole. That can't be overlooked in your analysis.
