#1: 2011 Bama SEC schedule was by FAR tougher than Miami's Big East schedule, and that shouldn't really be up for debate.

#2: Alabama gave up fewer points with an extra game against better opponents.

#3: Miami won by an average of 32.9pts. Bama won by an average of 26.7, again against far superior teams.

#4: Like has already been mentioned, Alabama has had 8 first rounders in the last two years. It is VERY possible that they'll equal the number Miami sent in the first round but yeah as of today 17>8

#5: To say 2011 Bama couldn't hang with 2001 Miami is silly. 2001 Miami would have had a VERY tough time beating 2011 LSU. That's how good the SEC is right now.

While I love my tigers dearly, I have a hard time believing this. That 2001 canes team is the best I've ever seen in my lifetime

I don't. I think a few teams since 2001 could have beaten them. They played weak teams, in a weak conference and folks remember them for what their players have done after college, more than what they did in college, imo.

2008 Florida in my opinion could beat any team from any year since the BCS started. Again, JMO.

In all honesty, winning three BCS championships within four years should be considered just as prestigious an accomplishment as any so called college dynasty that I am aware of.

However, the one quality missing from Alabama's claim to the so called dynasty label is indeed, time.

Win one more championship this year, and the Alabama faithful will indeed have their dynasty label authenticated by everyone.

After that, the only thing to quibble about would be how big or how long of a dynasty we are talking about.

That would stretch the SEC's dominate run of BCS Championships to 8 years in a row and Bama would claim half of those consecutive championships--so close, yet so far away.

3 NC in 4 years is a dynasty and is on par with other teams considered a dynasty. That said this only matters to fans, if your team is competing year in and year out the players will come.

How do these guys think that their butthurt biased opinion disputes what every media outlet (whose opinion actually count) says?

Truth is they don't really believe what they're saying, they're just trollin'.
