To be fair, it has to be hard for them to handle knowing that they're experiencing their greatest decade ever, yet nobody will remember (or even realizes) part of it because Alabama is on another one of it's runs with the coach that started the LSU decade.

Just to be clear, in the time frame you imply we were at our worst,
That's all that needs to be said...so then the stats you put up are stupid and don't make sense
More than just being an LSU alum, I've grown up a fan of FSU and college football in general...I've seen what real dynasties look like
Clearly, the media defines a dynasty as 3 championships in a short span, but the BCS and Bowl Alliance have never been fair or a good measuring stick...I think I've illustrated that in this thread enough despite numbnut Bama fans child-like bullshite
I think Saban is, as always, building strong defensive and conservative teams that don't beat themselves, and Alabama has been fortunate to fall into the NC games. That fortune doesn't happen for other teams in the BCS (as I've also illustrated in this thread). Auburn went undefeated in '04 and was completely left out!
I still don't see the longevity, or conference domination in the current Bama run, no matter how many times yall post 3/4...its not there

I believe the trophy's and rings are actually there. Someone posted a pic a few pages back.
Personally, I don't like to call it a dynasty - shite like that is for the media and sports radio goobers. I like to call it a real nice run of playing smash-mouth, competitive fricking football. Label it whatever you choose, but this shite is impressive.

So to recap once again
LSU fans: No
Everyone else: Yes
Interesting
Pretty much. Even Auburn fans have said it's a dynasty.

Shouldn't have played an FCS team, which both OU and USC didn't do.

well, I'll agree with that
I think Alabama is really the only school of creating a hard-core dynasty right now...
I think if LSU or Florida won the SEC and NC next year, you could start throwing their names into the "dynasty" talk hat, but there really isn't another team out there with as much success as Alabama right now
USC's days are over...Reggie Bush and Peter Carroll officially sunk everything they achieved
I think the next big "run" will come from Ohio State though....they've got 0 competition in the Big 10...

You are so full of butthurt and so mad....the term butthurt is overused but there is just no other way to describe it.....1-9 is still fricking with you.....your definition of dynasty is bullshite and you are simply spinning to try (not very effectively) and make your case....Hate to break it to you but this run ain't ending anytime soon....you are just the typical angry LSU fan who has daddy issues with Saban.

That is a retarded and meaningless stat now, and should have no bearing on anything...
In '14, we'll have a playoff, and under that format, Auburn would have at least had a shot to play for it all, which they completely deserved....
hopefully this thing will blow up to an 8 team playoff (SEC, ACC, PAC 12, Big XII, B1G and highest rated non-BCS as autobids, 2 at-large teams)

Not according to everything else you've stated in this thread.

In all fairness, I havent said that, some others have. I simple asked for actual qualifacations.
I for one dont like to claim something as a dynasty until it has ended. I forsee this as a dynasty in progress, but you never know what may occur.
Do I think a dynasty can encompass a short period of time, such as, a 5 year period? absolutely
They have established the base criteria for what is needed to claim so, in my opinion of a dynasty. I'd like to see them envolve and gain some more credentials to make it so. Credentials in this case is staying on pace for another 2-3 years.

well if that is true, then I'll gladly call this run a dynasty
like I said before, 3/4 doesn't = 2/4 in the SEC
Florida, Auburn, and LSU, all have beaten Alabama for SEC crowns...now tell me, who's got the butt hurt? lol

One game does not determine a season, and AU's body of work was well above the others.
Side note, Oklahoma canceled our game that year in favor of one with Bowling Green, and thats why we had the fcs team

And an SEC title sure as hell ain't the same as a national title.

As an Auburn fan who went to nearly every game in 04' I can attest to that

Nope.
go back and look at the ranked teams we played and compare them to OK and USC. then tell me.
Sagarins rankings gives a bump to big 12 and pac teams. As a SEC fan, do you really believe those conferences to be better?
Eta and if you go by his rankings AU played more top 20 teams, I believe
