Is A&M QB overrated or the real deal?

Im new to this site, and this topic has probably alredy been discussed. I have to say I was very impressed with his perfomance against Louisana Tech. There was already talk of him being a hiesman candidate. Whats yall's thoughts...Johnny Manziel for hiesman???
Oh, and if you didnt know Im a Texas Tech fan, and througly enjoyed watching Techs defense make Geno Smith and West Virgina look like a bunch of 3rd string high school backups.

Yeah he is. He will come back to earth a bit when the schedule toughens up but he's the best freshman QB in college football since Sam Bradford. He got a great combination of passing and running skills. Not the biggest guy and I'd be concerned about him taking too many hits in this league, but if he stays healthy, he will be a great one for the next few years. He will not win the Heisman this year, though. That's Braxton Miller's as long as OSU stays undefeated.
BTW, Texas Tech was fantastic against WVU. The WVU message boards were so fun to read on Sunday.

a new and original topic about Johnny Football. I'm not sure if the Rant has weighed in on this as of yet and am not extremely interested to hear their opinions

I love to make fun of the aTm circle jerk for JFF. However, yes, he's pretty fricking good. He'll win the hiesman this year, and the Heisman by his Junior year.

We'll find out in 36 hours how much JFF can do against an awesome defense. Likewise, we'll see how many points LSU's O can put up.

I agree. He has great speed and is able to make plays out of bad situations. I guess all these questions will be answered when they play LSU.
