Speaking of this I checked your posting history and you are busy trying to play referee and call penalties. I wasn't surprised at all by the loss on Saturday and it didn't even phase me certainly not enough to come on here and post blurry screenshots and try to play referee

He very well may have. He was trending in that direction.
87: 7-5 (unranked)
88: 9-3 (finished ranked 17th)
89: 10-2 (SEC champ, finished ranked 9th)
And then you threw a brick through his window. Curry said frick this, even Kentucky basketball fans don’t throw bricks, and he left for Kentucky.
I sure enjoyed the Curry years more than the Dubose or Shula years.

Ron, how much are you willing to contribute to Deboer’s buyout? Can we count on you for $10 million?

This is as far as I could make it into this moronic post. Disappointed I couldn't make it until the end, but I am proud of my performance.

We shared SEC Championship with Tennessee and Auburn in 1989 and Curry was 0-13 vs Auburn at three separate programs. You can't be this stupid? DeBoer is essentially Bill Curry 2.0 at this point.

I've already said that. I can't see after paying someone 30 million to not make a 12 team playoff that you would want to pay him 10 million more for another shot. Not sure how old you are but you would have loved Bill Curry. he just needed one more year and he was finally going to get it right.
I did love Bill Curry and I was sad to see him go to Kentucky. I was surprised, felt we were pretty close to being great. We had steady improvement every year he was the coach.
The knock was that he lost to Auburn 3 years in a row.
He wasn't fired, he left because boosters decided they wanted control.
And by your above standard, he would easily have made a 12 team playoff.

I don't think about you at all.

Zero. All I'm saying is if he can't make a 12 team playoff by 2026 then the people that are invested will pay it. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. That's just where the game is today especially for a job that wasn't a rebuild.

This is what you posted. I'm not the one posting blurry screen shots trying to play referee about nonexistent PI calls. You seem awfully invested in this to me. Is this the "try and accuse others of what you are actually doing" thing? I haven't given game a second thought certainly not on a Monday.

I sure hope so. A conference title and 10-2 record in year three will ensure a playoff slot. I look at what is happening at Auburn, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Missouri and realize 8-2, ranked #10, and being in control of one’s own destiny is pretty nice.
A 10-2 record is not good enough for you though. And that is going to be a problem for you.
You have unreasonable expectations.

So who do you expect to spend $50+ million to ensure your happiness with Alabama football? Since you won’t contribute anything someone will have to pay for it.

Never have I said this and we aren't 10-2. We are 8-2. You are just throwing shite at the wall at this point over me asking how many years without a playoff is enough. The idea that I'm sitting here posting blurry screen shots and complaining about referees is what the other guy is doing not me. I couldn't care less about Saturday because I expected it. It wasn't a surprise to me at all and I'm certainly not blaming the loss on referees.

Its not my happiness. Hell, did you miss the statement after the FSU debacle that the money was there to buyout DeBoer if the season continued on like that? I wasn't the one making those statements. Others were though.

Well, none of the other 15 SEC coaches inherited a program like DeBoer did.

I post about penalties for all teams. Most people who complain about the refs do so because they don't know the rules themselves. I do try to understand the rules of the games and I come to a college football forum to talk about the actual games.
You were upset and went looking through my post history for something to cry about, which was only a break from you crying about a coach less than 2 years in.

I'm not the one crying. You are on here posting about phantom penalties days after the fact. Move on. We lost.

Generally the better team wins the Iron Bowl. I always laugh at “throw out the records in the Iron Bowl” talk. You can absolutely look at the record books to win more money betting the better team than losing.
There is no more voodoo in JHS. We are wondering the desert for 40 years.
Plus our O line will give up 7+ sacks. We go down to the tide.

If he loses against Auburn, he'll be fired on the field after the game on November 29th.
If they get into the SEC championship game and lose, and thus miss the playoffs again, he'll be fired on Monday December 8th. ...the day after the playoff pairings.

All that is left is for Bama to enter the Kiffin sweepstakes. I wouldn't put it past their boosters either
