It's a style of play thing. Also, Oregon and Indiana played at Iowa.
Ok, well the style of football is Vandy scored 7 more points on them without their best receiver than Indiana did and 9 more points on them than Oregon did.
The real difference however is that Vandy doesn't have a top50 defense, that's why Iowa won today. Also, some stupid calls by Lea.

Iowa punched them in the nose and dictated the terms of the game.
HUNH increased the score but same result.

I don't know what "dictated the terms of the game" is supposed to mean.
Are you saying giving up 350 yards passing was the Iowa game plan?

I’m thinking Vandy wanted at least two more offensive possessions but Iowa ran the clock in the 4th qtr. like a Bert coached team

Both Oregon and Indiana played at Iowa without a month to prepare. Also, Oregon played in torrential downpour.
Also, this game could be played 10x more times and the scoreline would be different each time.
Iowa was clearly the better team.

These two statements don’t go together. Unless you meant Iowa was the better team today, there is no logical connection.

You do understand I was responding to someone talking about this game and it's meaning for Indiana over Alabama right?
So it's magically a sign Indiana is going to beat Alabama and meaningless at the same time?

I'm with you on this one. I have zero respect for Vandy. Their lineman seemed to intentionally injure our QB, and their QB is an arrogant arse that hasn't seemed to learn a lesson from others before him.
