Maybe, but wouldn't a star player want more than the back up kicker. We already have a pro system. Just develop minor league teams or do away with student athletes.
The answer could be to stop reducing the entrance requirements. Sure the quality of play will be lower but everyone will adjust. Even the HS students will adjust some.
shite, I don't know. It's really complicated either way you look at it.
