Murray needs to start. Very weak schedule here on out besides LSU and can build his experience and then at the end of the day decisions on all sides of the street can be made.

3. A&M's big chance was in the early 90's. Texas, OU, LSU were screwing up; other Texas Schools non factors. A&M didn't capitalize that into NCs and really putting their stamp on the sport.
This is the point I was making above. Even when these lil bro teams get a gigantic window of opportunity to emerge from their flagship school's shadow because the main program is down, they piss it all away and crumble under the pressure. Same with Aggies, Texas or Oklahoma State varieties, and they're fans are identical.

There is absolutely nothing about A&M intimidating.

If I recall correctly, last year's quarterback throw-under-the-bus drama saw the sacrificial lamb (Allen) start against Louisiana-Monroe at 11 am the following game. Aggies escaped with a 21-16 win.
South Carolina (11 am kick) is no Louisiana-Monroe. Just something to think about.

Needs a scapegoat.
He'll throw a player under the bus in a flash to keep justifying his $5 million a year.
Divided locker room? Sounds like he is losing the team.

hate Texas all you want but you can't throw 'em in the same category than Oklahoma State or A&M. They had a good run with M. Brown culminated by those seasons with Vince Young and the other QB who was real good. Aggies would cut their veins to have a run like that.

murray needs to run stadiums until he throws up
then he needs to run more stadiums
then he should get some game action, handoffs and called qb draws
i doubt it happens, this is tamu we're talking about

Honestly, I know Allen is a better pro prospect but Murray is QB I'm interested in-- any guy who wins that much and isn't carried by his RB or something could be really interesting in college.

@TexAgs: BREAKING: Kevin Sumlin has announced that he has re-opened the Texas A&M starting quarterback competition: Wow.... Great controversy going on at Aggieland. Who do you think is at fault? Sumlin, Spavital, or the QBs
Hasn't Sumlin been recruiting some of the top QB prospects in the country each yr? Maybe he doesn't know how to develop QBs?

Kyler Murray should transfer to the Pac12.
Should have went to Oregon in the first place. The last thing he needed is to be playing in the SEC as a true freshman.

So, throw the kid against the two best defenses in the SECW, and when he can't beat them on his own - time to open it up?
By the end of the Ole Miss game Allen was missing simple short throws w/o even being pressured. Either he has a terrible case of the yips or he is trying to play hurt. Either way, he clearly needs to sit based on his play since the second half of Miss State which is where the really bad throws to open WRs started.

chest
his caved in
not his fault, coaches shouldn't have called on him to carry the team so early in his development

I think the Ole Miss game was just a carry over from the Alabama game. Plus I have no doubt there is something wrong with his shoulder or arm.

I wasn't talking about Texas. I said Aggies, the Texas (as in ATM) or the Oklahoma State varieties.
Texas only achieved success by hiring a former Sooner QB as their head coach and he took them to three NTs. That's why I laugh when horns puff their chest about us using texas athletes. Maybe so......but your program's entire legacy was built by your most beloved coach EVAR, and he was a Sooner who played for OU.
