And this is exactly my point. The people who say we would be crazy to get rid of Bianco are the same people who rub the OMAHA jokes in our faces. frick them and frick mediocrity.
There are few fanbases that would get this upset over this loss, and that is exactly the reason we deserve something better.

No disrespect meant because the ballpark is nice and Oxford is beautiful , but: 1) you have almost no national baseball tradition(CWS appearances, regional hosts, super regional appearance, etc.); you have very few ex-players in recent MLB history (or currently playing); the state does not produce many big time players; nationally ranked players don't automatically gravitate to Oxford.
Bianco has been approached twice by LSU during coaching searches and would have been offered the job both times had he been interested. In fact, LSU would take him right now if for now other reason than he doesn't whine like PM and throw his players under the bus when things aren't going well.
You play in the toughest conference in the nation and compete in- state with two other good programs. Stay with MB and I believe that one day he will win the league.

Bianco wishes he was Skip Bertman just like Dooley wishes he was Saban. Ole Miss and Tennessee both have coaches that will never become what they and their fans want them to be.

Ron Polk is available. He's made it to several College World Series, last was 2007.
