They went into the SEC Championship game 12-0, got drilled by Florida and lost to Utah in the bowl game. It sucked but you could see the culture had changed. Next year, undefeated and a national championship.

Nate Oats is just getting started. Bama basketball’s future is bright.

Bama FIeld Goals to Free Throws is a comparison to be made.

Come on bro, Oats is not Saban. Basketball is not football, the days of John Wooden are gone.

No, just perspective and a way to lick my wounds.

I’m pretty sure you have these backwards. The SEC title game was very competitive; the Sugar Bowl was not.

Right.....

Because basketball regular season success equates to football post season success?

Oats is closer to Ed. Has some success but curses out the other team after the game, hot head.

I didn’t say he was. It’s just an observation that to expect a NC in the 2nd year of a new coach is kind of ridiculous. I’m proud of them. I would have taken this season result without playing a game.

Nate Oats: “I told our guys I’m going to talk about this team for 30 more years if I’m in coaching. They changed the culture of Alabama basketball.”
