Back then we kept our dreams small and reasonable. Beat Ole Miss and beat Tulane. That was all that mattered. Bama was a foregone conclusion.

That wasn't the point of my post. Y'all have leaned on two of the greatest coaches of all time in college. You won't always have that at your disposal even if you think that's your birth right. I'm not saying we'll get even, but we'll have our time again.

2 coaches that add up to almost 40 years of coaching. Kinda stupid to try and ignore that.
But, without Bryant and Saban the record is 27-25-5 Alabama. Or, if we are taking Saban out of the equation, he has to go for LSU too. So the record would be 27-22-5 in favor of Alabama.

That point went right over his head.

What would you do without us Bama fans educating you on LSU football history?

Dude, let's expand the sample size. Throughout history going back to the first game in 1895, 123 years ago, Alabama is 30-8-2 playing in Louisiana. Coach Bryant was at Alabama for 26 years, Coach Saban has been there 12 years. Somehow that leaves about 85 years unaccounted for. Something stinks about your thesis...

My thesis smells just fine. Without bear and saban, y'all would be just another good program. Obviously, you can't take them away because they have been the biggest pieces to your success. All I'm saying is, the run y'all are on will end at some point and y'all will fall back to the pack.

3 of those 5 losses were Shula (2) and DuBose (1)

And y'all lost to curley hallman in 93 and Gerry Dinardo in 97, both in your home stadium. What's your point?

What's your personal winning record, frick boy?

And without Saban, lsu would still likely be what they were in the 1990s. Alabama was good before Bear Bryant. Won a National Championship after he left too. We will drop off after Saban leaves, but that's to be expected with any program after a great coach leaves.

At Kentucky (2-1-1) A&M (2-0) and Alabama (16-4) Coach Bryant was 20-5-1 all time vs LSU. Talk about ownership
