Vandy is a beast.

What got us in trouble all season long, particularly not being able to lay off bad pitches, did us in finally. Combined with poor fielding at times and some of our best players suddenly developing a case of the yips in big moments doomed us.

If we do not make some changes during the off season to address our inability to lay off those bad pitches we could be in trouble next year. Honestly, if I was an SEC team facing us next year, I'd give us nothing but junk balls inning after inning until we prove we can lay off them.

I think Vandy is still my favorite to win although all the teams remaining have a legitimate shot.

Congrats, Hogs. You had our number this year in Baum, but I was cheering for you to make it to the finals.

First base will probably be the most interesting decision. McFarland clearly didn't impress DVH any this year so I figure others will get a shot to win that spot.
