I can't explain how great it really is. Most of my closest friends are other Aggies I went to school with or met later in life. I have traveled all over the world and run into other Aggies wherever I go. The Aggie ring is recognized by Aggies in every walk of life. The alumni association is the largest in the world. You will never find an "unemployed Aggie". The job network of other Aggies is too big.
My son-in-law got his Bachelors degree at LoSerU. Ten years later, he decided to get his Masters at A&M and never looked back. He has said on more than one occasion that he wished he had gotten his Bachelors at A&M too. He wears his Aggie ring wherever he goes.
Just out of curiosity stephen, have you ever step foot on the LoSerU campus? Have you ever even seen it? Based on your posts, I am pretty sure you never actually graduated from high school.

Preseason top 6 in football and baseball and finished unranked in both. Whined incessantly about the tournament in basketball and then lost by 20 to avoid playing us.
